Our flock has a mix of ewes with two different type of tail docks. The ewes that we purchase and bring into our flock usually have a short dock because that is what is popular in our area. The ewes that we hold back to add to our flock have their tail docked so they still have a short tail. I like the short tail or no tail, after finishing some wool lambs with their natural tail I always felt they held more manure on their tail.
I’m small Tunis breeder, and never thought of the harness marker, that’s pretty neat.. very good set-up y’all have, great job 👏🏼 !!!!!!
@joeboo2936 I highly recommend it. It gives you a good expected date window. The harness is right around $20.
What have you done to their tails
