I have seen this plant in open areas and that plants were healthy which means it stays good in direct sunlight.
Any plant in ground can sustain in any condition compared to a plant in a pot. Secondly ficus is a bit strong plant, it can sustain in sun but if you want shiny n glossy leaves keep it in semi shade.

Why you don't make video on agave plant
Thank you for giving such a useful info about ficus. Recently, when my plant was not growing properly, I took it out of the pot to find that its root had rotten. So I cut the rotten area and repotted it. I think now the plant has gone into a lot of stress and has shed all its leaves. Please guide how to save the plant.

I do have 8 ficus plants(trees) almost 7-8 feet high in my garden with day-long bright sunlight is totally happy....
So question is...can I put ficus indoor...??will it survive..?
Be careful while repotting it remove lower leaves it is prefferd to have some air layering
