Thank you! Trying your way! Usually I put branches in water and they dont always root
Roots for most plants need oxygen. The goal in general is to keep the growing medium on the dry side and keep foliage moist. Some plants live water like willows. With those you can literally through any branch in water and it will root. Other trees like some conifers are extremely difficult to root and can take years. Good luck with your propagation

lucky you, i've tried with tips and bigger branches and also in water, all failed! :D Maybe i will try with half sand and soil plus powder rooting hormone. thanks for sharing.

My ficus cuttings always failed... so then I started again with new procedures.. I put the cuttings on river sand and keep it outside in the rain .. I have seen some new growth on the stem .. I m going wait little more to see what will happen

It took stems of ficus plants used rooted powder...ill update if my stems will root,also I need to know the stems had roots coming out of branches...vl this help the tree to made from stem...

I think monsoon is best for growing cuttings..
I have a ficus that after many years, is dead except for one small branch, so I'll try rooting that branch with this method.

You can still propagate those little stems that you cut. Weeping fig is very easy to propagate because it is naturally a very hardy and invasive plant.
