Thanks for making Tundra videos. Your opinions are important. 👍🏻
Paying 58K for an SR5 is crazyyyyy
Better deal then a tocoma right now.
I will keep my 2017 Tundra. Thank you very much. Front end still looks like packman on the new models.
Love this truck. Have a very similar spec and it has been great over the past 1.5 years of ownership and 15k miles. Not perfect but in this day and age it was a good value compared with to the other options in the new truck market.
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I enjoyed my 2015 SR5 Tundra. Simple truck, nothing to high tech, just did the job. Loved the secret power button (Tow/Haul) 😂. I'm in the market for a pickup now. Sadly, I'm just not comfortable going with the new one...
I have this same truck. 23k miles, no issues but Toyota needs to work on interior quality. I paid 49,800 plus tax. Got it under msrp. 58k is a joke
They went down in my opinion. They should've kept the 5.7L and need to give it more payload. And why is the rear axle's capacity LOWER than the front axle? I don't think Toyota is serious about serving the United States with their truck anymore. They talk Texas pride but the big wigs in Japan are disconnected from our market entirely. What a shame because they're built in Texas.
I think they should be kept the 5.7 v8 but added one of their diesel engines as an option
@@thedd13ram I agree, but TFL talked to the chief engineer about why they didn't go diesel. Long story short: cost and emissions. Take it for what it's worth.🙂
@@revgordon91And the new POS isn't worth a thing. Goodbye Dumyota. They lost me.
58k for 4 gauge clusters and a 1 inch display 😂😂😂😂😂, hot garbage. Toyotas been dying since they kicked their ceo out last year.
I’ll always stick with something older with actual gauges. Hate the screens in my face at night any how.
What about the recall???😂
I will never get rid of my 2019 Toyota Tundra 5.7L all day every day !!!
The engine??? Lol
pause at 0:21
That was good (the engine)
I took a close look at the ‘24s this exact build out. This one has a couple of nice additions, however, be careful, they are good at sneaking in $70 cables and other garbage to increase the price by ~4k. The dealer offered me this truck at about 51k for a ‘24
I really wanted a new Tundra but decided on the 24 Titan. Figured I’ll drive this into the ground. By then, they’ll have the Tundra locked in…
I'm sorry, $70 phone cables "aint" cool!! Putting on a lot of bs crap that no one wants. You should ask them to remove. It's putting lipstick on a pig...instead of dealer added markup, they do this crap with deal added options...SMH!!! It's still the dealer trying to gauge the consumer. Tundras not getting a lot of love. They will sell a fair amount (Toyota fanboys), but they will not increase market share with this current version. P.S. You have the off road package and no skid plates. WTF!
What are the tire size? Nice truck, but a larger tire would lift it sight...
The USA folks can have the v6 all they want. Canada will take a diesel option
The truck looks like a big mouth bass.
Awe, what a cute little truck. XLT F250 with a 6 3/4 bed: $55,510, and it can do real work(Ram 3500 tradesmans and Chevy HDs also available for mid fifties all over the place if you look). Also if you want a 1/2 ton I'd get a V8, like the coyote which gets better mpg than this anyways. WGAF about the torque if your payload is barely enough for a grocery run? Swing and miss TOYota.
Not everyone needs a 3/4 ton
@@atg1338 Which is why I said: "Also if you want a 1/2 ton I'd get a V8, like the coyote which gets better mpg than this anyways. "
Not "needing" a 3/4 is a lousy reason to get a toy like this. Full disclosure I DETEST just about everything toyota does, exterior/interior and engines, can't stand em.
@@briancavanaugh7604Who the f cares what other people do with their own money? Get a life🤡
I do wish they would have put a 10 speed in with the 5.7 and they could have easily gave it a little power bump. Haven’t driven the 3.4 but have all the ecoboost and they are the best towing half ton no doubt, but why not offer both engines.
Imagine passing up the base RHO for the same price. The Ram is just a whole other level. Ever since the unproven Ram SST smoked the ford tremor up the tfl toaster, the trolls have been going insane. Sorry truth hurts. The Ram just works, id still pick the toyota over the other makes.⚓
Toyota really killed the tundra
This is a modern Toyota. That shifter already fell off. 🤣
It's too bad Toyota won't let you place an order. The SR5 with the 8ft bed is hard to find.
Yep, no orders and the unknown quality of that 3.5 twin turbo engine make it a hard pass.
when are the hybrids coming. dont see any on autotrader.
That front end is stupid
Ugh...I know...I know...is it uh...LACK OF RELIABILITY?
It's ugly and how much HP/Torque?
The price? 😁😝
I wonder if the Mailman is driving Tundra
🗣It’s still uglier than last year model. Sitting beside the f150, gm, and ram it looks like a midsize truck
Toyota Tundra is the best half ton on the market. Get so much value for the price. Overall has a far more robust suspension and power train than the big 3. Which matters when you need to be 4 wheel drive for extended periods of time in the winter or back roads, and plan on owning it long term.
Not the new one. Compared to the 5.7 it's a POS. Only a short bus passenger would part with their money for the ugly new one.
@@MGMidget73 well that’s according to you but if you research it you would see that the new tundra has a bigger transfer case, bigger drive shaft, improved suspension.
It's a plaatic pile of 💩 rear bumper is worthless... wind noise inside at speed.... worthless bed.... and it's ugly af
Does it come with a spare Engine??
Hettinger Courts
Anything different? NO! They all look the same…… homely
Well, the price is still not reasonable
Lame V6 that has been failing and a very sad short truck bed. Pathetic
They corrected the issue lol
my 2023 taco has a bigger motor than that little guy
Where is the standard front tow hook? 2022 and up Toyota tundra are piece of shit and junk. I won’t throw a penny on new one.
Considering where they sit in the sales pack, I don't see how they can justify that pricing (but then again you could say the same about Ram). I'm surprised they haven't gotten rid of that ugly ass front end. I prefer Ford but I would trust Toyota to stand behind their product more than the U.S. automakers. I am fed up with the government messing with the market and everything overall in our vehicles.
😢😢
Hm,the front grill overpriced unreliable and. Ugly.
Toyota sucks nowadays! No thanks buddy boy
Same garbage. 5.7 for life!!!!
No more Toyotas. They went full woke. Some of that crap is truly sickening.
I mean I hate Toyota too. But wtf does woke even mean. You people use it for everything you don't like .
Anyone who says woke should be kicked in the balls
I bought a 2022 tundra it’s been in the shop 4 times already please stay away from the 2022 tundras
Look the same as old over price junk 2024 tundra 😂😂😂
If you want a tundra with a shity resale value and a junk motor then this is your truck.
NO ! Same crappy engine , no Tow hooks !, All Plastic Cheaply made ! Everything New Toyota is Lacking QUALITY !
Junk and no thanks😂
