    Was looking at one 2018 and 2017 pre owned but ended up getting a Jeep Compass 2021 80th edition with the big sunroof good surround alpine sound and all the things I needed heated seats heated steering and it’s great for the Boston cold snow days! I prob saved a lot more money 💵 and the ownership long term!

      comparing the jeep to a range rover is like comparing a suzuki to a ducati.. they are not in the same league.

    I just bought a used 2018 vogue like this. I cannot find the seat memory button. I can’t stand it when somebody gets in my car and moves the seat. There is no manual with my car. I am very surprised at a car of this caliber not having seat memory/recall buttons.

    This is not the range rover evoque 2018... maybe 2016 or 17... the 2018 one has a full screen.

    I can get my full golf bag in cross ways utilising the indentations at either side of the boot. I can then slide my electric push buggy in behind with no need to invade back seat space at all

    I’m torn between the 2018 Range Rover evoque and the 2019 Volvo xc40. What are your thoughts on Both..

    • @TheTestDrive
      @TheTestDrive  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So I haven’t driven the XC40 yet, but from what I’ve seen, I think the Evoque is a little better looking (in my opinion). I think Volvo’s new infotainment system (touch screen) is better than Land Rover’s. Performance (all 4-cylinders) and pricing seems to be very similar between the two. It’s a very close comparison. I would suggest driving both and seeing which one you like better!

    This is a world wide Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) pricing Strategy - they set comparable pricing vs main competition visually however when you take into account spec levels the JLR vehicles no longer look competitive. But because customers are hooked on the design they spec up their vehicle with numerous overpriced options to have semi decent vehicle for the segment the price end up over the roof. This is smart but not long term sustainable strategy in my opinion.

    i love this car. i think I'm going to get one. thank you for the detailed, honest review. i just wish you didn't have to take your key out to open the car. especially when carrying a purse it's a hassle to dig for ur keys, that's one thing I'll miss about having my BMW

    All turbos have lag. My Audi A4 same thing.

    • @TheTestDrive
      @TheTestDrive  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure, I have a BMW X5 and a Ford Fusion both with turbos and there is some slight lag, but this one is worse than others. Although it could be moreso the transmission at times not knowing what gear to be in that makes the lag more noticeable. Still a nice car to drive though.

    My 2014 Cadillac ATS also had a push button staet but you needed to unlock the doors with a key fob. They corrected it in a later model.

    • @TheTestDrive
      @TheTestDrive  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      oh ok good to know, I wonder if Land Rover would eventually make that feature standard here, although I imagine they might this as is because it seems they like to make you add packages to get any of the features you'd typically think are standard (except NAV which I was surprised comes standard).

      Preta Pretinha it is a european car, we dont need big engines without reason. We want out cars luxurious and comfortable, not a plastic rattle box with a v8

    They say range rover is unreliable. Can it handle 4 months of arctic weather ? Because i don't have the time to go to the garage more than once a year

    • @jordankelly4684
      @jordankelly4684 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every single one of them leaves the factory with a rust proof undercoating good for 10 years so you tell me if they're made to withstand snowy weather.

    • @jordankelly4684
      @jordankelly4684 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also they're not unreliable people are just broke and can't afford parts for it so when things go wrong they can't get it fixed for several months and that makes them mad so they hate on a fantastic brand. Don't listen to the haters. I own one. It's not my first and won't be my last.
