The omelet sure is loaded inside & out with sausage and cheddar. I usually like plain French toast but this banana foster French toast sure does look good. Looks like a delicious plate of basic pancakes with the real butter and homemade dark syrup. From the menu, the hot honey chicken tender doughnut sandwich looks like a tasty breakfast item. Ham & Eggs with the side of pancakes looks to also be a good choice. Great price and great food from Sawyer's Farmhouse Restaurant. Thanks for posting.

That pancake syrup comes in a concentrate from the food supplier most likely and they prep it by adding water, kinda like those frozen OJ concentrate tubes we all used to use. The French toast did look seriously awesome.

@@susan_elizabeth I know, I love Sausage gravy too, I'm from the south and our mother uses to make homemade Sausage gravy, as well as homemade Buttermilk biscuits every single Saturday morning with other breakfast items for our weekend breakfast meal. Always nice and hot..enjoyed it all. Now I make some of the same food items like the gravy and all for my husband and grown son. We love it and their neither from the south.
Hey y'all. Love your videos. Curious if you two will ever go back on keto and if so have you ever thought about making some videos showing people how to get GOOD keto food at restaurants? It would also be cool to see what keto choices are available in different types of cuisines and to see if there are any restaurants that cater to people on keto specifically (like having a special keto meal on the menu). I would also love to see y'all make some videos on where to eat that is both delicious and CHEAP. I know no one asked what I want to see but maybe you guys might like some suggestions. :)
Thanks for watching! Matt is on keto most of the time (I try, but he is more disciplined than me). Most of our videos are filmed while we are on short vacations/getaways which is typically when we splurge a little. We would he happy to shoot some keto idea videos in the future. We do eat eat out while on keto sometimes. We try to show budget options in the Smokies but everything seems to be very expensive in that area, however, we'll try to show more affordable options. Staci says Smokies Pancake Cabin, I would say a the Old Mill overall or five oaks for its unique dishes but that waffle and pancake at the frizzle chicken were great. Honorable mention for awesome fried bologna would be Reagan pancake house which is also a great value and family owned and operated. It’s so hard to narrow it down because there are so many good places in the area. We would likely have different answers for Gatlinburg. We look forward to trying mamas chicken kitchen breakfast. AND we have a friend that works at there and their biscuits, waffles and pancakes are ALL handmade!! They have NEVER used frozen….KFC are made in store as well my youngest daughter worked her first job there…
@MamaS1990 We felt it was overdone. But tastes vary. Just because something is "handmade" and "never frozen" doesn't mean it is good and just because something is frozen doesn't make it bad. Thanks for sharing your third hand insights. 😉
