This feels like the same Dexter recipe we all know and love again to me! Multiple plots progressing at the same time until they reach a climax and one big villain per season, which at some point (only) Dexter figures out and get dangerously close.
This show is sick honestly, I was scared it would be garbage. The reveal of Spencer this episode made me gasp and It was generally so shocking and unexpected.
Just watched the episode. I DIDN'T wanna believe it. Like, yeah, i saw people pointing it out in theory videos, but i just brushed it off, saying: "No way he would have done this just because he got divorced and lost custody of the kid". Now, looking back, Judge Powell rooted for the wife, and betrayed Spencer in the worst kind of way (probably getting him jailed or something), that's why he went on a fucking spiral. Watching Dexter: Original Sin made me forget how fucked in their head some people can be. Now i am reminded that you can't trust anyone. HOLY SHIT.
officer clark must be the other serial killer, his brother shot when he was 14 (born in blood). I think he was hunting while dexter met him outside the bar while chasing levi reed. He is disgusted by what he is and theres the fact that his parents deny him. These are passionate crimes. And at this point in the show (3 episodes left), the killer must have been introduced, i cant see anyone else to fit the profile
i'll go further with my theory. I think no one else than dexter and maybe harry will know that spencer is the killer (we would have heard about it in the OG show). To end this show Dexter has to face the main villain. Either he will kill Spencer with the approval of his father (if Harry doesnt want the miami metro to be blamed), or without (if dexter doesnt want his father to know that his friend is a child killer). With this kill he will find out how to get rid with bodies and it will be the first one to end like trash in the ocean. And This show introduces Maria Laguerta as the new face of Miami Metro, she has to be the one to find out that Clark is the second killer, be the new face of Miami Metro and the hero of Miami who gives justice to NHI killers. But i dont have any clue about the mobile of Spencer is masked when he is whis his son, if he wants to kill him, who cares if the boy knows that his father is behing that mask? Maybe he wants Miami Metro to save his son (for the department to solve a big case and be praised by the press), and put it all on the cartel ?
@@lolaelara3172 too obvious since episode 2 or 3.. and the character isnt delevopped enough. I think this guy will just do some shit with Debra's heart and thats why she's going to be so messed up in relationships in the OG show
i acctualy think clark sanders is the second killer(the guy who watched his brother get killed at 14) bcs they showed that he is at gay bar or club and all of the victims are gay, maybe bcs he saw his brother dying when he was young and he wants to kill
I immediately went to self exit when i saw the bloody wrist bandage. I think it may be one once Capt knows Dexter is on to him....and i bet DNA reveals he isn't Nickys Father will be the reason too. Too much of a Retcon otherwise.
I knew it would be someone that's close to one of the main characters. I was hoping it's not Deb's boyfriend cuz she's already been through so much with being engaged to the ice trick killer, seeing Lundy die, finding out about Dex
I thought it was either Tanya or Spencer, then I saw the masked killer and it was clearly a man. They retcon'd some key things and I think Dexter is going to kill Spencer and that's what drives Harrys heart attack. I also have a theory that Tanya and Spencer are potentially doing this together and that may be the HUGE reveal.
Tbh ngl i watched the episode and 30 40 minutes before the reveal i thought he was the killer just bc he has no emotion at all just anger i wanna work with the police my self and i know when someone looks like that there the murderer i don't really know why he did it tho
Aaron has political ambitions. I think he is blaming the cartel, so when he starts getting more serious about charging them etc, it will look good for the general public when it comes to vote.
@@SabellaSummersand it didnt even leave it as slightly questionable. Just straight "maybe? Could it be? Possi- yes 1000% yes. And if your doubting here spencer buying some more lunchables."
@@Reeddz yeah it makes sense. Cuz they gotta use those characters to get rid of them somehow since they're not in the original show. I think it's really weird that Spencer is the killer though, I don't really like it tbh because he has no reason to but we'll see how they play it
This episode was the worst! This show is great but this episode just felt off! That flashback after dexter learned the truth was terrible!!! Felt like a Bollywood moment 😂.
no way Miami Metro have TWO killers under their roof😭😭😭☠☠

Crazy that Spencer would cut his own son's finger. That's sick.
He is not his son.
It’s the other guys son not his they had affair for 14 years

This has to be the best episode , I had a feeling Spencer was the killer but then I also thought it would’ve been the head of Forensics Tanya.
Yep.
Tanya would have also been a good suspect.

I also think it's Clark and agree he was hunting at the club.
My bet is the first thing Dexter does next episode is take his finding to Harry,
It is odd. Was the first kid a practice run? Quite an elaborate scheme, to likely hurt his wife. Perhaps his intention is to frame her new man?

I don't think it was that shocked, I called it episode one.
What an insane plot twist.
so Spencer is the Bay Harbor Butcher... What a twist!
Is it already a well trodden theory that this season's child killer is Dexter's first victim in the OG show?

I’m calling it now. Aaron Spencer will not be killed off in this series.
He eventually will lol , its not like he was in the OG show or had any mention of him
