- Winter NAMM 2018 delivered on its annual promise of gearheads, music aficionados, and top musicians for a four-day feast of exciting sights and sounds.
The crew at the Dunlop Booth were proud to play a part, and while we were there some very talented friends dropped by to sample some of Dunlop’s new gear for 2018-the MXR Sugar Drive, MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay, the Way Huge Pork & Pickle Bass Overdrive & Fuzz, Dunlop Strings, and more.
British phenom ANDY JAMES has established himself as one of the top metal shredders in the world. Its with great pride and excitement that Dunlop introduces the brand new signature Andy James Flow Pick developed specifically for musicians like Andy who continually challenge themselves and look for gear that helps them achieve their goals.

The new master!! His confidence is so strong now. Big guitar sound...state of the art. Playing is pure and ground-breaking. No BS effects either.
The term "Under-rated" gets thrown around a lot, when in fact, most of those referred to as such are not so. Andy is the King of underrated!!! When Andy popped up on my algorithm I instantly "hated him" as in, he's so fucking good, he's gotta be an asshole but, he's humble to the core. He makes it look so effortless so, I thought, I'll incorporate a few licks from "What Lies Beneath". His ring finger is just to fast. In the guitar community, Andy is not on the radar, why? I don't know.
Andy can play songs from the best guitarist on the world so clean, better then they can. I bet that all of them cant play his songs! This dude is NO1!

thisperfectworld yeah I was thinking the same thing during the Nick Johnston, Angel Vivaldi and Lari Basilio spots they just show the talent grabbing a pick which we are to assume is a Dunlop, but I guess they own MXR which makes sense with the stomp box close ups, a lot of talent at that booth
It isn't available until April, maybe that is why... plus I think Andy wanted to change the color before they went to the public. This model is called the "Flow" and AJ model is Ultex 2.0mm while I think the others with this shape will be the PrimeTone type of material.
I would kill for lessons or tips from Andy..so precise...he is the guitar.
