- Did you know you can make your own peanut butter with your Thermomix?
A healthy peanut butter that's good for you and tastes amazing
Most store-bought options are loaded with sugars, additives, and less-than-ideal oils. And if they do pass the health test, your wallet takes a hit.
The solution? Whip up your own nut butter in your Thermomix!
INGREDIENTS:
• 500g Unsalted Mixed Roasted, Unsalted Nuts/Seeds, or one type of Nut.
• 1/4 tsp Salt (leave salt out if using salted nuts)
• optional 20g Coconut oil
METHOD
1. Add Nuts and Salt to Mixing bowl. BLEND / 40 SEC / SP 7 increasing slowly.
2. Scrape down sides, add Oil and continue- 30 SEC / SP 5, scrape and repeat until Nut Butter consistency is achieved. This can take around 2 minutes.

Whats the best way to store this oncemade? Whats the shelf life like?
It's best stored in an airtight jar either in the pantry of fridge.
Either way it lasts up to 4 weeks. Choose pantry if you like it more spreadable. 😉
