Stray Kids are built differently than most kpop groups out there. They're a self-producing group that are known for their experimental hype beats but has a wide range of genres within their discography. Highly recommend Venom, Megaverse, Freeze, Maniac, Lalalala. They have a mini album releasing in August with the title track called Chk Chk Boom on the 19th of July.

God's Menu is so good and it never gets old watching people to react to Felix's voice for the first time. Our sunshine boy with the demon voice. He actually has incredible range and can go pretty high as well. He was also the one you said he looked like a main character which made me giggle waiting for the reveal. Also you said Han looked like the best friend of the main character. Han who is our resident ace, meaning naturally good at everything, and Felix are often called the sunshine twins because they are the mood makers of the group.
Felix and leader Bang Chan (had chains on his face and took the first singing non rapping part) are from Australia and speak perfect English. Several other members are mostly fluent as well Seungmin, Han (who speaks English with a British accent which is funny) and Hyunjin are pretty fluent. Then the other three Changbin, I.N and Lee Know are varying degrees though i think they understand a lot but arent as comfortable speaking it.
The group is self produced. Bang Chan, Changbin and Han paired together before the group was made and called themselves 3racha. They are the producing unit of the team, writing, directing and producing 99% of the music SKZ does. Very unusual in kpop. Also unusual, leader Chan actually handpicked the members himself. Usually they are put together by the company. It really makes Stray Kids feel more like a family that take care of each other. Stay, their fanbase, spans gnerations of all ages and music styles. The guys love to play with their sounds and from one song to the next you dont know what you will get.
Often their lyrics have deeper meaning but it isnt always clear at first listen. I usually advise people watch the music video first and then watch a lysics video and then a dance practice (if you do that) however its your channel and totally up to you! I hope you continue SKZ journey. We love watching people discover them for the first time. ❤

Honestly: With these chaotic kids, it's easier to read the translation of the lyrics even before you start recording your reaction... their transitions are masterpieces and you risk missing something interesting while reading the subtitles) and yes - they have dance practices for many songs, they are a separate kind of beauty

A lot of reactors, especially with Stray Kids videos, will watch the video once through without the lyrics, then a second time to try to read the lyrics. Their videos can be so wild that they are really hard to watch and catch all the lyrics at the same time. I was laughing when you said Felix looked like a main character because I knew what was going to happen soon. Also, when you thought Felix disappeared, he was actually in that scene but wearing a different outfit (bright green cardigan). Felix has that demon voice, but he's actually the softest person ever, his nickname is 'Sunshine' and they also say he's an angel.

I loved the bit where you pointed out Felix and went "He looks like the main guy" then pointed to Bang Chan and said "Him not as much". The reason why i find that funny is that, that "not as much guy" is the leader. Which is the best quality and why Channie is my bias, he is like a father figure to the guys, and always gives each member equal opportunity to shine and have their moment.
I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but those two guys (Felix & Bang Chan) are Australian and what we STAYS call the Aussie Line, I'm a tad biased though as a fellow Aussie Stay 😅❤🇦🇺

Really enjoyed the reaction, it's definitely one of my favorite "Felix effect" reactions lol. They have so many great songs to recommend and they also sound amazing live. Maniac, Thunderous, Venom, Freeze, Lalalala, Megaverse all have great music videos and are fast paced, energetic and hard hitting like this. They have a lot of different genres. For rap I'd recommend Top Line and Muddy Water (which is a unit song that doesn't have an mv but has some great live performances). They also have great lyrically driven songs like Cover Me, Slump (which was an OST along with Top for Tower of God), Scars and Leave. They also have several One Take performances which showcase their live vocals. You really can't go wrong.

The members names are Bangchan, LeeKnow, Changbin the one you saw when the video first started, Hyunjin, Han was the second one you saw after Changbin, Felix is the one with the deep voice, Seungmin, And I.N the youngest ❤❤❤
K-pop is such a wide field of music. A lot of people don't understand that it stands for Korean + Popular, not pop music as a genre. It's an industry. So there will be groups that are darker concepts, groups that are sugary & cute, groups that are more focused on hip-hop, and others that are dance focused. So you can find a lot of different things, all listed as "K-pop". To add even more to this, Stray Kids are kinda their own niche. They weren't put together like a normal group. They write & produce over 95% of their own music. They have a core group 3Racha (Who were actually a threesome who were into hip-hop & made mixtapes for Soundcloud while they were still trainees.) who do the most producing, but in recent years, the others have started trying the same. All 8 members have written songs. The least of them only has 17 songs to their name....But 3Racha have 150-180+ songs to their credit. (Not all are Stray Kids songs, they have made lyrics & music for other groups & colabs with other artists.)
Stray Kids started their musical journey with a story they wanted to tell. And their music has evolved with them. It's good for new people to go album by album to find all that SKZ have to offer, but not every song or video is part of the story. Every album has a theme, and every song ties into it. (Mostly. There are a few that don't quite fit, but most do.) But the story is separate from the theme while also setting the theme....It's hard to explain. The title tracks set the theme of the album, but not all of the album are part of the story. And they have a LOT of albums. This list alone covers 10 albums.
And I don't know if anyone has mentioned, but Stray Kids were a 9 member group when they debut. Woojin left the group around a year & a half into their journey. (They just celebrated their 6th year anniversary.) So you will see him in many of the older videos they have. He is now a soloist, and I wish him well. But it was a huge mess, and Stray Kids were very hurt but came out of that with a stronger purpose. They found their musical sound & have flourished since. Stray Kids are 8 members & that is the perfect number for me. I just let you know in advance, because it's very confusing to see a unfamiliar face in videos from 2018-2019. And a lot of guides never mention him, and most Stay ignore his presence.
I'll leave a list for you if you would like to go through it. I give this list to any baby Stay, or those just learning about SKZ, I come across to help them in their SKZ journey. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it's good for new people to watch it as pieces of it echo through the story line. It was made for the survival show that they went through to prove they had what it takes to debut as a full group. (Most survival shows are to put together a group, their group was to already made & had to prove they were capable of being idols) And yes. You need to watch it in order of the list.

I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music.
There Is also a separate story line called the Mixtape Universe, or the Film Club Universe. It's it's own self contained thing, and it recently got a added film in the latest comeback. It follows the members in an alternate reality as they are members of a school film club.

And just recently there is now SKZFLIX that kind of follows an alternate path of the Film Club universe, and the Unveil track for Leave also ties in. We are waiting for Leave to get a full film. I want it so bad. (At this point, I don't think it will get it's own MV. And I am sad.)

Whoa.. this is a lot! I don’t consider myself a baby Stay because this will be my third comeback but this information is new to me. I’m have to copy this list… I’ve got a lot of curated watching to do 😀
@@n2sunset I have a very chaotic little brain, and I see a lot of connections that are faint to a lot of other people. I like finding connections & similarities between what I have seen & heard. With the story line, I paid attention to what members have said in interviews & intros, and similarities in the videos that pull together into a whole picture. I will say Grow Up, My Pace, and I Am You all happen in the same time frame. Just like District 9, Mirror, & Voices all happen at the same time. Small things just line up in the right order, and the lyrics add to it.

Ask youtube to list their mv's in order, or check out their playlists on their official TH-cam site to get an idea😂. They have over 100 self-written, self-produced songs covering dozens of genres, a ton of high-quality mv's (recommend megaverse, top line, lalalala, to start), dance practice/special performance videos, behind the scenes and recording videos, lives/vlogs/inteviews, reality show-type content, side/solo/team projects, relay dance videos, live performances on an epic scale...etc. They even have a complex lore chain embedded into their discography involving different multiverses that they made an award-winning short film for. I discovered SKZ just a few short months ago, but I've been obsessed ever since😂. If you were to do a deep dive into them, STAYS (their fans) would LOVE to watch it😂. They are 8 truly talented, extremely close people with a really interesting history and chaotically wonderful personalities. Subbing in hopes you will react to them more! ❤

To be fair, their m/v's are such a production that it is very difficult to follow it and catch all the lyrics - so multiple views is helpful! I know it sounds like a bit of extra work, but it is worth it, they are really great lyricists, known for great wordplay (hard for us English-only speakers to identify sometimes).

Actually, I'll stop. Their discography is extensive (200+ songs) and they really do all kinds of music. I'm sure someone has already commented that 3 of the members form the production unit of Stray Kids (named 3Racha). The three connected originally with their love of rap, and are all excellent rappers (and I mean they have weight and grit and power - they aren't just vocalists doing a rapping section). This means that most of their songs have a significant amount of rap.
They debuted in March 2018, and while they got off to a slow start in S. Korea (their "noise music" doesn't cater to the expected norm's for pop there) they have been picking up huge fanbases around the world - and God's Menu was the catalyst that catapulted them into the spotlight (along with the Kingdom: Legendary Wars competition during the pandemic).
They are extremely talented musicians, rappers, singers, dancers & performers. Their concerts are extraordinary (check out live performances). And they are such a close knit group that even their behind the scenes content is hilarious, heartwarming, and unabashedly honest. Their fandom is called Stay. [You probably won't be shocked to hear that I am one...]

Check out LaLaLaLa, S-Class, Domino (Dance practice- there is not a full mv), Megaverse, … Also, it is Comeback season so they will be dropping a lot of content. ‘Ate’ (their newest album,)will be out 7/19 and they have already dropped an unveil of the first track ‘Mountains’. Only check it out if you dont mind getting spoiled before the full song is out. I loved it and am super excited for the entire album to drop!
