Roman Castro Vlog This week will unfortunately be a no fishing week because we are moving to 4S Ranch. If you want an arm/core/back work out though, let me know! We have lots of boxes!
Hey Roman, I'm from Singapore and I'm coming to San Diego for a couple of days in a week's time, do you want to fish together? I have very little clue about fishing in San Diego, I typically go for Peacock Bass here in Singapore, but let me know if you'd be down
Hi +Anthony Sanchez, Yes, you do need a fishing license and saltwater stamp. Its about $50 for the year. You can pick it up at Dana Landing Market next to the boat ramp. If you just want to fish for a day you can also get a single day license for about $17. The prices may vary. :) Good luck if you go.
Oh man seein this vid makes me feel like I'm not alone as a new fishermen...Never knew that was SDs most pressured spot haha...To see you rig the weedless skirt without a grub is exactly what I did for my first time with a spinner bait....Realized the hook could use a grub and I hooked up to a spotty second cast. Got to look up more old castro videos, classic! Ahh spoke to soon, guess it was just me who tried the spinner bait without a grub attached haha. To see your latest vids where you confidently get 20 fish a session gives a newbie a lot of confidence!
Hi Triple D! That was a grind. It but you have to have days like this to appreciate the rays you don't skunk. Keep at it. Have you tried downsizing yet? It's a good idea to catch a ton of little guys so you get a solid feel for the bite before throwing heavier stuff.
Was using a 5" swimbait, sometimes I throw the 3" gulps and got one a day ago...Just one lol on a spinner bait! Was with SDshore pounders and one guy was using 5" zman paddle tails? He got 5 spotties and a needlefish in the same area I was...
love Ray Romano's fishing channel. Super chill.
I wish I was half as funny. :)
Nice job Roman!
Thanks +jcastprod

Thanks! I want to get in a dive this week. Let's go if you are available.
