Animal Crossing: New Horizons canon ending:
A US bomber wing carpet bombs the island because of Nook's financial crimes and small genocides.
It's not enough though. Tom Nook survives and proceeds to get into an attrition war with the US, which quickly escalates into a Global War with the United Nations banding together against Tom Nook and his rapidly expanding empire, composed of millions of civilians from the conquered nations being ground into bells.
The UN finally loses after the loss of Europe and destruction of Russia. Tom Nook decapitates Vladmir Putin, president for life no more, and stitches Isabel's head onto his body.
The resulting dust and blood and soot from the war clouds the skies, and results in global cooling to freezing temperatures. Earth is rendered uninhabitable within the century.
The now dead Earth joins Venus and Mars in Tom Nook's collection, and now he sets his sights on the moons of the Gas Giants, his rocket the harbinger for more genocide.
