Don’t sleep on Bebe…methinks she is actually the front-runner here & perhaps the only win that “Cabaret” gets
Nikki M James actually won the featured actress Tony for The Book of Mormon. I believe it was an upset win.
Thank you!
I would never sleep on Limpicka
Hoping to see it this summer if it's still open!
My predictions
1. Lindsay Mendez
2. Bebe Neuwirth
3. Shoshana Bean
4. Leslie Rodriquez Kritzer
5. Nikki M. James
Even though Mendez missed a few shoes, I think the love for her performance and the show in general will allow her to win. Despite Cabaret’s mixed reviews, I think Neuwirth gets in based on being a Tony legend. I also think Shoshana Bean gets in since Hell’s Kitchen got great reviews and is looking like a big player. Since I’m predicting Spamalot to get a revival nomination, I’m predicting Kritzer since Sara Ramirez won the Tony for this same performance. For the last slot, I’m predicting M. James since Suffs is looking like a huge player and I think if anyone in this category comes along with it, it’s her, since she already won in this category for The Book of Mormon.
Aside from those, I think Kecia Lewis could pull off a double nomination for Hell’s Kitchen. I don’t see Krystal Joy Brown getting in since I think Mendez will overshadow her, and I don’t see Leavel or Iwan getting in with the show’s mixed reviews.
Makes sense why you're leaving Leslie in. Wonder if this category will end up having 6 slots.
Same top 2. Even with the not so great Cabaret reviews, Bebe was clearly the standout in the same way Maryann Plunkett is for The Notebook. I truly think she's a lock. And just from narrative alone I can see her being second here.
Makes sense about Bebe and Maryann being the standout noms for their productions!
I totally agree.
My top 5 is Lindsay, Bebe, Shoshana, Leslie Kritzer, and either Amber Iman or Nikki James but I’m leaning more towards Amber
4/5
This is a tough category because so many of these performances were lauded. However, I don't think any of the Suffs women will be nominated. All of the performances were good, but none of them really stood out from the others. I think the double nomination will go to the Hells Kitchen actresses. The fifth nomination really comes down to Iman and Kritzer. I could see either one getting in as standout performers in otherwise lackluster shows. I think Lindsay and Bebe are locks, and I honestly think Bebe could pull the upset and win. She got rave reviews across the board and is a very beloved veteran. I know Merrily is the frontrunner for many categories, but Lindsay really had very little to do in this production. I thought she was wasted. (Then again, I did not love this musical at all and thought the book still had a LOT of problems.)
Great thinking about this category! Especially Amber and Leslie both getting in plus the double Hell's Kitchen nomination
same except I would swap Krystal w Amber
Actually, Nikki M James has won a Tony for Book of Mormon @Broadway Best Friend
Thank you!
Fact Check: Nikki M. James has a Tony award WIN for Book of Mormon
Thank you!

The “s” is not pronounced in Illinois
But the show isn’t called Illinois, it es called “Illinoise” as in NOISE. That’s why it is pronounced that way
How can you come on and make predictions when you say you haben't even seen some of these? Who are you anyway? What credentials do you have? I have none so I don't make predictions.
why are you so bothered? you could just keep scrolling or not watch the video. this is HER channel and HER opinion. relax.snobs like you are exactly why our generation is leaving the theatre
It’s just a bit of fun. This comment is ironically as unnecessary as you claim the video is
