Looking at this base, it can certainly be done for less than $50 in materials, including have it lit. Overall, maybe not the same quality as Sideshow but more affordable (8th of the cost) for many people.
The capes are replicas of the film used material the chain was plastic & the biggest issue with this model is that it’s not wearable the anovos costume & a mall manqué cost less than this AND you can troop in that anovos gear for 501st

Mr. Bates he was 202cm on top trumps, which is 6’7.5 but on the databanks he’s 203cm so 6’8. Armour included so with Vader standing without armour/helmet it’d make sense to be 6’6.

Poor quality fabrics, really poor faux leather goods , this is an example of a product aimed at people who are lazy, unimaginative , and just want to have something they think will make them the envy of ( the poor people ) I have a boba fet out fit it took 8 months to make , and over the last 8 yrs iv tweaked it here and there to the point where several big time collectors actually thought it was a genuine prop! And I’d say iv spent all in all £1200 quid, It’s about using your imagination to create a homage to your favourite character/s , not about showing off and saying look what I can afford , I’m at a time in my life where I could buy one if I wanted to , but I’m not that stupid and vulgar :)

Actually a lot of people do that. I have a screen accurate Kylo Ren costume that i have on a mannequin in my room you couldn't tell that it wasn't a real person.
Robe over the top in ANH but then the helmet doesn't match. In ANH the helmet came to a sharp point over the nose and it had 1 silver and 1 black billet by the mouth. In Eps 5 & 6 both were silver and the point was taken out over the nose
The belt boxes aren't screen accurate to the ANH version. The belt boxes should be further along the belt right next to/framing the buckle, just saying...... #fyi

Actual dimensions would be roughly the size of an NFL linebacker. Vader was a huge, menacing figure. This should be reflected in his frame.
Seems too tall. David Prowse was 6 foot 6. This figure stands 7 foot 8. Even accounting for the stand and the helmet, seems a bit enlarged.
