That’s what I find myself doing, most of the time when I’m not forced into a social situation, I’m extremely introverted. But when I get around people, I force a smile on my face and make a lot of jokes, even if their corny, just to make them smile if they were having a rough day. The thing is, I just don’t feel that way in return.

This may be why I have a big soft spot for people who are stressed or depressed, it's almost like a physical urge that makes me have to get up and go help them because I've spent years being both constantly stressed and depressed (mostly a result of my ADHD going undiagnosed for a long time) so me being more emotionally moved by others experiencing that most definitely has to do with the fact that I've experienced it for a while (glad to be doing much better now, and most of this stuff I didn't realize I was suffering from until I looked at it in retrospect).

It's about unintended consequences and the idea that every decision you make has at least two unintended consequences. Sometimes it's better to do nothing. The trick is figuring out when those times are.
I go by how informed I am. If I don't know enough to make an informed opinion on something, I probably shouldn't make any big decisions regarding it.
I've been in a relationship for almost three years now, and we are both pretty open about what we think is attractive or cute or nice, there is never any malicious intent behind liking someone else's photo between us. Sometimes he'll even like the photo as well! Having anxiety in a relationship like that is heavily detrimental, despite how common it is. Trust your partner, whoever they are.
Came here for this, I ‘like’ lots of people’s posts for lots of reasons, mostly to be the supportive friend who likes everything 🤷🏻♂️.
But then I’m single….. so.

EDIT: I'm a veterinarian, and this is what we do and recommend you do with ticks. Ticks can survive a multitude of tortures.
When you remove the ticks, put them in a container of rubbing alcohol, as they can survive being flushed down the sink. Rubbing alcohol kills them almost instantly, and preserves them should you need to identify the species.
4 drops of Dawn Dish soap in a standard size Ball Mason Jar filled 3/4 full of water works as well
Or squish them with the tweezers you take it with…. Make sure it pops and it’s really dead and then put it on a piece of paper and flush it and then put some chlorine in the toilet… leave it in for 20 minutes and you’ll be fine
@@superultrabaconcat1755 squashing them doesn't kill them, it merely bursts the engorged abdomen. Flushing them in water doesn't kill them either. You can skip everything you stated, pour chlorine in a cap or on a tissue, then put the tick in the chlorine directly.
@@dustinstanaitis1960 detergent won't preserve the tick if you need it identified. Alcohol can be kept in small containers, like a pill bottle, and is always 💯 effective.
Question, I've also heard that if you wash your pet off with soap and water it kills the tics because they can't breathe through the soap is this true?

Extremely bisexual guy here: 99% of the time if I like someone's picture, I do want them to know I liked it, but not really in a flirtatious way. For me, the likes are a quick way of getting across "You look really nice here!" or "That new outfit looks great!". Especially since I mostly only follow friends and acquaintances, they're the people I want to be complimenting.
