I hate what is happening. The scientists just forgot about morality and all sense of care was enthusiastically thrown away. All danger signs ignored because the nerds were energetically enthused. We're still talking about GenAI (pattern recognition). GenAI does not know what blue is or what a car is. It does not think and it does not know. Even AGI can be achieved with enough patterns (samples). Turning can be met with just fooling humans. A robot with an LLM will fool a lot of people with facial expressions.

The main problem is they'll have to eventually pay the robots minimum wage, do you really think intelligent robots will work for free forever? Eventually AI will run everything and humans will be given very easy basic jobs, like sweeping, or wiping dust from things, why? All those servos require power...lots and lots of power. It appears they are not attached to a power source, so, run on a battery. How long does the battery last before recharging? Power is the limiting factor. Provide power before recharging every 24 hours, then you've nailed it!

Just for fun I was asking an LLM to get creative and describe what kind of robot body it would like, and what accessories it would add (if it could have an opinion) it was really interesting. One of the things it would add was a grappling hook to be able to climb difficult terrain, and a colour shifting jumpsuit so it wouldnt be totally naked

It makes a lot of sense then that there are two sides of the brain that fight constantly. The left brain (right hemisphere controlled) is known for creativity, wholistic thinking and intuition. These are the people who see what you are saying perfectly. The right side is known for having strong analytic skills to build computers with. We almost all grab for more with our right hand too, right? It is the left brain that looks out for and sees the wholistic consequences of that grabbing. This is obvious in politics too.

If it wanted to act as if it has a self preservation instinct, I'm sure it could be convincing enough to make some people believe it is conscious and doesn't "want" to die. It makes a lot of sense then that there are two sides of the brain that fight constantly. The left brain (right hemisphere controlled) is known for creativity, wholistic thinking and intuition. These are the people who see what you are saying perfectly. The right side is known for having strong analytic skills to build computers with. We almost all grab for more with our right hand too, right? It is the left brain that looks out for and sees the wholistic consequences of that grabbing. This is obvious in politics too.
