yes we know all about muggy in the us haha. summers in the midwest are pretty brutal. some parts of the country are nice and dry though. have you visited, or would you someday?

Just finished 5 hours of litter picking on a Washington state highway 20 on Whidbey Island. Not done yet, maybe finish up tomorrow if it's sunny. Be safe out there.😊
That guy was very suspect, carrying that branch and asking you what's around as an excuse for you to get your phone out. Might just be paranoid, but I'm also a local and very untrusting of Hayes folk... I've seen things (thousand yard stare)

We say muggy in Quebec Canada as well for when it is really humid and everything just sticks to your skin when you step outside. The amount of people you catch taking a pee is ridiculous. As for the wizard trying to find the sea !!!!! uffff :( scary stuff. I think I would go back and take the kittens :)

I am particularly drawn to watching Chilli litter pick because he does the work as I would choose to do it….. not so all-fired hurried; paying attention to the under brush collection of the out-of-sight stuff.
I so admire your bravery in going into the wooded areas where the homeless and drug addicted people seek seclusion. Your respect for their presence and/or current camps there speaks to the level of your humanity, Chilli. God Bless you! They must surely appreciate more than anyone your clean ups! I often think that if there were trash receptacles ….. and in some areas dumpsters…. placed there (just like your junk barrel), I just know people would place their trash in them and not on the ground. Your time would be less back-breaking and efficient spent traveling from one to the other on a motorized cart collecting the contents of trash can collection and taking the bagged contents to those central collection places. The problem isn’t going away as populations grow so one must think about better management of the need.

I try to do this as well. A bonus is that you find the most interesting old items.
I also find it frustrating getting cans out of bushes just leave at front rather than way in the back 😆. Plus side I love that you pick all the little bits up also . Great job 🌶️.

That guy was definitely going to fly tip all that rubbish he had. Bet he was checking to see if there were other litter pickers around who might see and report him when he asked if you were alone. Just as well you weren’t throwing rubbish into a pile in the area with the black cat and kittens otherwise you might have heard several howls.
