As a retired postal employee, i would suggest putting a piece of tape across the address label. Serves 2 purposes, would keep the label from being torn off of the box and if by chance rain or snow gets on the label, it wont make the address disappear.
She uses thermal printed labels. The adhesive on the packing tape will cause the labels to fade. Only labels printed on an ink jet printer need to be taped over. I have experience in this area, my day job uses a thermal printer, whereas for my Etsy store, I print my labels out on my old ink jet printer and tape them on my packages. I am hoping someday to be able to afford a thermal label printer.🤔💖😉🙏

Yes, pre orders sounds good to me because most of what I want is always out of stock. Also, that added little soap sample is such a welcome surprise. Who else but you would refund the difference in shipping. I love that honest quality about you. What about doing like a quarterly launch for your products? Pick a specific date each quarter and use the months leading up to the launch date to prepare your products? That allows time to advertise the products and do seasonal products.
Steph I have the same bubble wrap. Mine is perforated actually I think they all are. I've never had to cut any of it. I believe its like 14 inches in-between perforated beginning. ❤
Steph look for herbal and oil essential shops near you that you can get your oils you need. I think that what they call them in Harrisburg Pennsylvania up here.
The problem I see for you with pre orders is that if you're not receiving payment until your orders actually ship, you're not going to be ahead of the game to be able to buy supplies with those orders until they ship! ❤
I love my things they are packed so nicely. And you threw in a mini bar of soap I love it. Personally I feel like if you do pre orders you are locked into making just that item. I feel like you should make what you want and sell things you want. If you do go with pre orders you might only try 1 or 2 items to see how it goes Shipping cost. Do what is easier on you. I would think not having to go back and reimburse each order would be easier on you

At tax time I got 500 back for putting on a metal roof. I went green , the shingles stayed on the house. Going green means I didn't put the shingles in a landfill. Better insulated too

A good place to get oils in bulk is called Bulk Apothecary. I dealt with them a few years ago and they were very good to deal with.
You could use a tension rod instead of string for your bubble wrap. I do it for wrapping paper.

You might want to put a piece of clear tape on top of the label too. Keep it readible even if it gets wet, or damaged in shipment
