I would suggest buying LED bulbs major upgrade. Done it on both my G-Bodies, Cutlass and El Camino the results are night and day no pun intended. Good video by the way👍🏽
WOW this really was informative, how did you know or find out about the 6 cyl - 8 cyl jumper? Also, if you change the bulbs it prolly would get a tiny bit brighter - but my girlfriends cutlass in the eighties were pretty dim too! Her cutlass had a weird - long feel to it - It had no feel of control on ice or snow. Long + rear wheel drive. Also, hers was a WEAK WEAK 260 v8
I have the same cluster, my car is a 1983 Hurst Oldsmobile, however I'm having the most trouble finding the correct size bulb sockets. Any help on the correct size and what co. sells them. Thanks
I am not aware of anyone that sells them. Getting another used cluster is probably a good option. Check with gbodyparts.com, or the Classic G Body Garage group on Facebook can be very helpful. Good luck.

Thanks, maybe I will. I’m sure that would brighten things up.
Your dash lights are perfect; remember they are not backlit.

260 is a dog! 307 is no prize either. I found the cluster info on the classic g body garage youtube channel.
