Cytoplasm || The Fundamental Unit of Life - 8 || for Class 9 in Hindi

In this Science (Biology) video in Hindi for class 9th we explained the structure and functions of cytoplasm in a cell. This is a topic from Chapter 5 - 'The fundamental unit of life' of science from NCERT.
The cytoplasm is all of the material within a cell, enclosed by the cell membrane, except for the cell nucleus.
Cytoplasm contains a fluid part known as cytosol. It also contains cell organelles like, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, ribosomes etc. Cytosol is made up, mainly, of water and ions, small molecules and large molecules like proteins are dissolved or suspended in it.
Functions of cytoplasm-
1. Chemical reactions take place in cytoplasm.
2. It gives shape to the cell.
3. It provides space to the cell organelles.
4. It supports transportation of different materials from one site of the cell to another.
