I love when Andrew was interviewed about this scene and he was like "they had the music playing and I didn't have to dance to it, but I did anyway."
That's BS. Why would you have the music on set if not to have someone dance to it? This was obviously planned.

I don't remember watching a British show, movie or series that didn't have tea in it, or a rant about the name 'English Breakfast Tea' (Victoria Coren Mitchell) or a reference to the royals, rain and underpants.

I love how everyone is after him and yet he takes his time and just dances and has fun. Bloody love this psychopath. Also, the freaking "not our division" while eating donuts and drinking coffee. Probably one of the most quotable moments in this show.

Basically every mental health organisation in the UK has unanimously agreed that that's total bullshit. Moffat isn't a psychiatrist and he clearly has absolutely no idea what a sociopath actually is. Apparently, Sherlock is more like a high functioning autistic (which is odd, because John casually mentions Sherlock having Aspergers in 'Baskerville', yet they still call him a 'sociopath' in later episodes).

Reminds of the movie Independence day. The military radar screens had the exact alien ship icons and even animations for force shields. Like who made those animations and why did they know what the aliens looked like?

Andrew Scott was perfect as Moriarty. Couldn't imagine anyone else in the role. This scene was definitely one of the standout moments of series 2.

I love that he first carefully places the little diamond on the glass like he was doing some high precision work and then just smashes the glass with a fire extinguisher :P
The intensity of the whole scene is conveyed perfectly by showing the tea falling down from the British men's hand.
That moment where he started dancing was improvised by Andrew Scott himself. Nice touch Andy!

It's actually disturbing how good the episode was. Pure genius. If Netflix counted the amount of times I've watched per episode, this is one of about three or four that would win by a landslide. WOW. Very good.

This one of my favourite Moriarty scenes. Andrew Scott is pretty much born for the role of Jim Moriarty. He plays the character so brilliantly !!
Knowing that Andrew Scott wasn't told to dance, but did it just because he wanted to, made this scene a 1000 times better.
PS- had any of them ever imagined how popular the "Not our division" Line would become?

I love this so much! In this moment Moriarty stole my heart.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the bgm scores and overall cinematography of this scene has a relatable touch to a clockwork orange 1971 by stanley kubrick. The chaos,unpredictability,the tension created by moriarty in this reminds me very much of Alex Delarge's sadistic persona.

For anyone that didn’t understand the diamond thing, he puts the diamond on the glass since diamonds are one of the strongest metals, uses that diamond as a way of concentrating the energy from this big iron(or whatever metal fire extinguishers use) into this small, tough, concentrated area to break the glass since its probably bulletproof
