James Barbour has quite possibly one the clearest, most powerful voices I've ever heard. I got to see him in this role back in March and he easily became one of my favorite Phantoms.
I watched The Phantom of the Opera yesterday night at Majestic Theater. Over the last 15 years I have went to this theater to watch The Phantom 4 times. Yesterday was The Best Phantom! I shall never go again to watch it again. Awesome voice, great acting. Bravo James Barbour! Brilliant!

i went to see phantom on march 25th for my 16th birthday and neither James or Ali played, but the actors (can't remember their names at the moment) were wonderful and we sat in the second row in the front mezzanine and seeing my favorite musical live was just wonderful and i can't wait to see it again in the future

Barbour's Phantom was so captivating we went twice the same week to see him while we visited NYC. His portrayal is phenomenal, I felt his pain.
