i'd do that ngl, tho for a berserk ending, im pretty sure everyone wants guts to actually live a happy life, no more fighting demons day and night, finally gets to spend time with his girlfriend and daughter, actual good sleep, all of that.
That scene is one of my favorites. No dialogue, and Guts isn't necessarily smiling, just watching from afar, but you can just tell how happy he is to see Casca and his companions having fun for once, knowing that the peaceful moment won't last, but he's cherishing it for sure.

When you listen to the music and see how they use it in the anime its mesmerizing. There have been many times where I just sit and listen to Guts theme for hours just thinking of everything.
Just fucking imagine the beach chapters from Millenium Falcon animated in the style of '97 with Guts theme playing while he puts Schierke's hat back on her head. I will never forgive what they took from us.

Uh oh, here I go feelin’ things again. The more you get to know Guts, the harder it becomes to follow him. He has a beautiful soul, forged by a lifetime of hardship.
As night falls, Guts doesn't feel his deep wound burn... The wound that burned every night and reminded him of that fateful day, when the sun turned black and his life was shrouded in darkness. The wound that would cause him to be chased by monsters hungry for his flesh and soul. The wound that his companions also shared for an instant and that took them in the next. The wound that his beloved carried and that bled in the last vision of his right eye. The wound on his neck was just a reflection of the one in his heart. Pain, fear, sadness, regret, shame, anger, will, hate, hate, HATE!... also love, strength, companionship, resilience, gratitude... Berserker. The salty and gentle sea breeze, the water wetting his feet and the heat of the fire, memories and dreams that will accompany him and the strange feeling... of always being watched by someone in another dimension, someone who can just watch his walk, but who are somehow supporting him, through darkness and light. The wound that is now just a scar and that will always remind him that he is alive.
Forever this manga will be tied to me: on the exact day, seven months after Mirua’s passing… my mom passed from Covid and I was up to speed with the story, so you can finally guess how heavy heading the story is to me. RIP to both of them…
It’s funny that since I was always rushing to get the next boss, I missed how beautiful a walk along the shore is at sunset. I guess these moments are what makes Elden Ring such an epic.
This was probably hard to pull off, slight walking tilt for 4 minutes straight. Tilt too much you start jogging, tilt too little you don't move. Beautiful video, much respect to the art
If Guts ends his story be staring off into the sunset one last time while living happily with Casca and his child, i think it’ll be the first time i cry for a character, who’s finally found their happy ending they deserved the most.
In the ending of the Berserk story, Guts finally managed to kill Griffith as a form of revenge after Guts was betrayed by his own best friend, Griffith. After that, Guts retired as a Mercenary and married Casca then they were blessed with a child and they built a house on a hill overlooking the sea, while looking at the Sunset as a happy family after going through an endless war. It's very sad Kentaro Miura couldn't finish Guts story to the end, because Miura was gone. So we will never know at the end of Guts adventure, whether Guts was able to find his happiness or not. 😢
This is a rollecoaster of emotions. I started sobbing because I thought how bittersweet the day will be when the story ends. I want it to end with its characters fullfilled and yet I don't want it to end, maybe because mr. Miura passing away will not see it through. It makes me so terribly sad.
To me this music reminds me of the intricate relationship between Guts and Griffith. First, lone and self-dependent Guts becomes mesmerized with the very skilled and wise Griffith and feels like for the first time someone can read him and know how he actually feels. First he hates him for it but then learns to appreciate it and become part of the Band of Hawks. Then later on, even though all Griffith wants is power, he subconsciously gets too attached to Guts, who in turn abandons him to look for his own greatness and that breaks Griffith. To me, this relationship is much more powerful than the romantic relationship between Casca and Guts.
Hopefully this will be the ending we’ll get. Where guts finally finds peace after killing Griffith & saving the world but sits by the fire thinking even after all he went thru to kill him. His vengeance wasn’t enough to make him feel any better & the grief for his former band still remains but is grateful for his new companions. Now he must find a new purpose. A purpose he sought out to find long ago when he left the band.

After beating dark souls 3, bloodborne and elden ring i feel more connected to berserk, cursed lands, with dark history and dark things lurking at first we have a goal but as head deeper the story becomes tragic, and we feel like we been through a lot, now the story where i felt guts sadness abd pain was during bloodborne, bloodborne is a hopeless world, people dont survive they all die by taking their life or bleeding out telling you to carry on their goal, but im hoping that guts finds peace and happiness because what he went through is a fate worse than death.
