The recipe I am using to learn all of this: 1. Learn how to learn the thing you want to learn. 2. Focus and dedicate time to learning. Ideally find somewhere with no distractions. 3. Do the thing you want to be good at. 4. Find your weakest points and work on those. 5. Test yourself. 6. Get feedback. It's harder for self-learners but ideally you'll have someone to evaluate your work. 7. Don't just accept the answer as the answer. Understand why it's the answer and build your own understanding of how to get there. 8. Remember to take a break and stretch every 20 minutes or so.
Triads are very interesting. Been wanting to get into jazz, and I hear this is the core of a lot of the theory of jazz.

Scotty knows his music. I have learned so much so far. A lot has gone over my head,but I’m going back to start once this ends. Very interesting!
