In studying Quantum Mechanics, it is acknowledged that quarks pop into and out of existence in a vacuum. I chuckled when I was learning that level of science. I thought to myself - "Well, it has taken hundreds of years for Physicists to learn what faithful children have learned for generations in Sunday school lectures". I love science. To me it shows the footsteps of the divine.

the line 'God creates out of nothing' does it reject evolution theory or allow it
The Catholic church acknowledges both. It doesn't deny science.
