@@Alisson_Thiago He did that in all the Latin America gigs of that tour. I don't think it counts because he didn't sing the song, he only played it for the crowd to sing it.
th-cam.com/video/Ur1Q4ogZbRY/w-d-xo.html this is the version he recorded on BBC radio last year for anyone looking for it. Better than the original I'm my humble opinion 🎶
Disagree. Both of them "own" it vocally for very different reasons. Liam's vocal when backed by a band is nothing short of sensational but Noel just makes it a very different song when played acoustically.
He's singing it like a hipster John Lewis Christmas advert version. Changed the solo and the chords. Can't see Noel ever playing Knebworth again doing this lame low energy stuff
@@shredder9536 Isn't that the point though? Liam is just living off nostalgia, living off Oasis and pretending he's still in the 90s. Noel's trying new stuff, which personally I rate a lot, maybe not so much recently but first 2 albums were quality. Beady Eye were better than Liam's solo stuff
Noel sung this song in 2019 at South Korea. Every time when he visited South Korea, he tried to play this song. th-cam.com/video/vaJBpy14_iQ/w-d-xo.html
Disagree but even if that's true, Noel's the only reason there's a song to sing... just like 99% of the songs that made the person I'm assuming you're talking about known to anyone...
Beautiful version! It's like being in heaven, everything feels right, perfect arrangements. thanks for sharing!!
I would dare to say that Noel with an acoustic guitar is always a perfect arrangement itself ;)
How lucky was Liam to have Noel as his brother, nobody would have heard of him otherwise, Noel would've always made it big 👍🏻
Timeless
And biblical
Some interesting chord variations in there. Especially like the chord on "you and I are gonna live forever"
finally he did it.. I love your spirit in music noel
This is just spellbindingly beautiful and mesmerizing. Noel's acoustic performances are amazing
soft... beautiful
Incredible
I feel like in heaven...
Thanks for sharing. What a beautiful song.
영생.. 오랫만에 들었는데 또 감동 왜인지 모름
The arrangements on this and Stand By Me are so good!
Special Definitely!
He played “live forever” in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), in 2018, during the last show of the tour
Really? Any footage. Only time I ever heard it solo was in South Korea when he let the crowd sing it.

Man Noel Gallagher can make grown men guy with new rendition of songs that are almost 30 years old.

Does anyone have the full recording?
This account posted all the songs he played at this gig

Noel owns this song both on paper and voice where as Liam borrows this classic

Nice…..but needs the original guitar solo
cant people shut up for a second
I was there and singing my heart out. It was great. It’s a gig, people paid a fortune to be there. They had a right to enjoy it how they want.

gotta love crowd response

Love it. But the solo should be the original Imo. It’s probably most defining Oasis guitar solo.
nice to hear some variation
How do you know it wasn’t the original solo?! 🤔
@@MrBillyboyroge well I’m going back to the demo of the song in 1993. Pretty sure the recorded version of the solo on DM is the original solo.

I think it’s a beautiful take on a beautiful song.

Sounds really good but where’s the oasis sound we all love, Noel needs to stop doing ballads and go back to the classic oasis sound
