Great watching and love for nature
In-cycle coppice - the holy grail and living proof that you can have excellent nature conservation value with economically-sustainable working (for product) as the main priority.
Having worked extensively in Surrey, I'm not surprised about the building of BMX jumps in woods. Can do huge damage, but there seems to be no 'formal' or non-damaging outlet for the energy and creativity exhibited in many cases.

Coppicing is a sustainable tradition.
Not a good idea to mention badger sets from experience the less people that know the better !
