Coppice

Join Mr.C as he coppices a small section of young woodland.
Coppicing is an ancient technique of cutting trees down at specific intervals (measured in years), and then harvesting the regrowth. The coppice 'poles' can be used for everything from construction, laths, hurdles and gates, to tool handles and even besom brooms.
Mr.C is experienced in using a chainsaw, green woodworking tools and tools with very sharp edges and is demonstrating the process.
Children should NOT attempt this! Always safety first!
