At 10:30 in the video I had to replay the sound of the train three times due to the spectacularly accurate sounds of not only the noise of the train, but of the bell-complete with air release valve sounds! That was epic!!!!! 5*’s without hesitation!!! Lol they even sound better than the train sim games!!
Hey Jeff. so you were the first video i watched about ats and got my mind working for getting the game and building my set up. it took me about a year, but i know have a full set up, the game and also just started my own channel. If it wasnt for you man it may have been much longer until i discovered this game. i feel like i am back behind the wheel again for i cant any longer in real life. this is a huge mental fix for me as i loved being a driver when i drove. it scratches that itch that was just out of reach..... long story short. THANK YOU SIR

You said something about parking long trailers into tight spaces, I feel you, I drive a stretched peterbilt 389 with a custom 53ft trailer, and I tell you backing that combination in tight spaces is not easy. Keep making these great videos, I really enjoyed watchi them.
At 16:54 I noticed that the Train mod bogged down your FPS. I just recently started playing on the 1.37 Beta and noticed the same thing. I put the mod at the top of the Totem Pole and I got no frame drop. I hope this helps anyone who's having problems and man does FMOD sound amazing. Another nice vid Jeff!
I'll have to give this a try. I was playing at 100fps and then a train went by and i dropped all the to 4fps. So i deactivated the mod despite how much i love it. Hopefully your trick works cause it's one of my favorite mods!
I believe g_traffic is already set to 1. I think that if i continue to have issues, i might just go in and edit the mod myself to have lower locomotive counts and lower train car counts. There's an add on the original mod author has that does that, but it's not updated. So I'll have to do it myself lol. Thanks again!
Jeff if you get into Assetto Corsa you have to check out the Shutoko Revival Project and the 'track' they've made. Its amazing the work and detail they've put into recreating Tokyo's highway system.
You ever get the feeling when you roll the windows up in a real car as you're heading down the road? Where the pressure change just suddenly hits you and it almost makes you dizzy for a split second? Yeah, I got that with the 1.37 beta using my Logitech g935s! Can't wait for it to be fully released, the sounds are crazy awesome!!!!

I recommend trying Shuto if you're checking out Assetto Corsa, great map. There is also a multiplayer server with 20-30 people almost everyday with high powered cars and big roads.

Or try Engine Voice Records because sound is all in such games. I only have 3 videos out but you all can check out the sound on those trucks on my channel. I play mostly ETS2 . Playing this ATS 1.37. I tried this mod for the motors but even by itself it cuts out my truck sounds so no air no reverse beep. Bunch of errors in console for that as well. Anyone else have this issue?
@@chrisonaire Well except I go with no mods other than this sound pack and it still cuts out the air and reverse beep sounds. Errors show in the console.
Love the game I play all the time love the graphics in Washington the are doing better with the graphics in the game Love it. look to New York in the game.

Your right Jeff the train sounds are amazing! Finally with that and railroad crossings that do there thing. Really really great.

Moving it to top priority worked. 2 trains went by at the same time and i still got 90fps. Thank you!

what am i missing? i have 1.37 and when i tried coast to coast, my game 100% crashes. am i missing another part to this mod?
Hey Jeff, What happened to the Wheelcam By thrustmaster? I miss the Wheelcams.
I have found that most gtm mod trucks have the amamated windows because they use the default truck interiors
