It's too bad Konami didn't really get into fighting games much, the only ones I can think of was that Smash Bros. sort of PS2 game that never got released overseas and the Bloody Roar series they bought and promptly buried.
I had the Hothead figure growing up. Unlike the game and Archies comic, he was red instead of yellow. He was so much taller than the rest of the characters he had to have a retractable neck so he could fit in the blister pack.
I remember playing TMNT Tournament Fighters on the SNES at my cousin's house years ago. Such a good game. I wouldn't mind if they remade it on modern consoles with more characters. They should also do a remake of the Double Dragon games. Maybe they could have a transformation thing like the old school cartoon. Anyone remember that show?
Now these are good stuff. Two of my favorite NES games. That TMNT is really impressive for NES standarts. My favorite was Leo, spamming hurricane kicks was so much fun. Double Dragon 2 was the game me and my friends played most. Another ones are Battle city and Contra.
Really had no idea they were still making nes games in the early 90s era the super nes was out. Well I actually did knew because of megaman 5 and 6 was out
Simmons is thinking of the arcade version showing Marian's death. It starts just like the first game, but the thugs gun her down instead of gut-checking her and carrying her away.
That's the problem I have with double dragon games. It's a beat'em up that suddenly becomes a 2D platformer. Instant death pits you gotta jump with the worst controls ever. Those parts are literally made to drain all your extra lives. It's unfair, it's broken, it's not fun.
I like how each version of TMNT Tournament Fighter was different with their own set of characters.

Steve and Kenny enjoyed playing dd2 a little too much, if you know what I mean lol
Some games are a collective childhood favorite for siblings, and Double Dragon 2 was that for my brother and I (along with Guerrilla War)

Yo, I actually like Casey's design in this game.

Should have played the Sega Genesis version of TMNT Tournament Fighters. Better graphics and better controls
