Antwerp International Airport visit by bicycle from the Netherlands

With the new bicycle highways F411 (Border of the Netherlands Hulst and Belgium De Klinge with Sint-Niklaas station) and the F41 (Zelzate - Antwerp) or F4 (zone Sint Niklaas - Antwerp) you can quickly get to your destination. Antwerp airport is located 5 kilometers from the city center. There are a few flights a day and some destinations twice a week, but also a late evening flight departing at 10:30 PM. I asked at the car rental counter if there is an open catering point, but this was closed a few years ago (the problem is that it is difficult to operate catering facilities all day long) with limited flights. The regular bus De Lijn also comes and it is also very exciting by bike, but there is no bicycle shed hahaha ;) There are beautiful destinations, even Spain, Turkey, Morocco .... The airport is commercially particularly interesting due to its location, the length of the runway is 1,510 meters (4,950 feet). The airport is suitable for regional and business flights, but has limited capacity for larger aircraft. At Brussels airport an average runway is 3000 meters and more (9850 feet)
