- Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link (ARL): The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link is a dedicated train service connecting the airport to downtown Jakarta. It operates between Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station (SHIA) and BNI City Station (formerly Sudirman Baru Station). The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic and the train schedule. From BNI City Station, you can easily access other parts of Jakarta using the city's public transportation network, such as buses or taxis. #indonesia #jakarta
The best way to get from Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to the city center depends on factors such as your budget, time constraints, and personal preferences. Here are some options you can consider:
Airport Rail Link (ARL): Taking the Airport Rail Link is often considered the fastest and most convenient way to travel from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to the city center. The ARL connects the airport to downtown Jakarta, with a final stop at BNI City Station (formerly Sudirman Baru Station). The journey takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic and train schedules. From BNI City Station, you can easily access other parts of Jakarta using public transportation.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service: Taxis and ride-hailing services like Grab are readily available at the airport. While this option offers door-to-door service and can be convenient, it's essential to be aware of Jakarta's notorious traffic congestion, which can significantly impact travel time, especially during peak hours.
Airport Shuttle Bus: Some hotels and transportation companies operate shuttle bus services between the airport and various locations in Jakarta. These buses offer a more budget-friendly option compared to taxis or ride-hailing services, but travel time can be longer due to potential stops and traffic.
Private Airport Transfer: If you prefer a more comfortable and hassle-free option, you can arrange for a private airport transfer service in advance. Many companies offer private car or van services with professional drivers who can take you directly to your destination in Jakarta.
Public Bus: Public buses also operate between the airport and different parts of Jakarta. While this option is the most economical, it may not be the most convenient, especially if you have luggage or if you're unfamiliar with Jakarta's public transportation system.
When choosing the best way to get to Jakarta city from the airport, consider factors such as your budget, travel time, comfort, and convenience. It's also advisable to check for any updates or changes to transportation options, especially if you're traveling during peak hours or holidays.

How do you buy the ticket to city center online?
Ticket u can purchase from station . Its always avialble
That building you get off from, that was not Terminal 3…that’s actually the Airport Railway Station.
Just FYI✌️
How we can go to that building from terminal 3?
@@laurentdelobelle8357 you mean from Terminal 3 to Airport Railway Station??
From the International Arrival hall simply follow the sign to the “Skytrain” or just ask direction from the officials going around that Terminal.
After you reach the Skytrain shelter, ride it to Airport Railway station. That train will make a first stop at Terminal 2, then it will continue to Airport Railway station (free of charge).
Get off in that shelter and go down to the ground floor and follow the sign “Airport Train” until you reach the actual waiting hall.
You will easily find ticket machines on the corner of the station, and you can purchase the train ticket using your credit card (no cash allowed). If the machines having some issues with your card, just ask the officials available at the customer service desk right in the center of the station (it’s so easy to find).
Once you’re onboard the train, if you stay in the central part of Jakarta, simply get off at “BNI City” station. If you stay in the eastern part of Jakarta, continue the journey to the terminus station which is called “Manggarai”.
One tip if you make it to Jakarta and you get confused…just put a smile on your face and ask for help from anyone around. You might be bumped with a little language barrier, but most of the people willingly help you out.
Okay? Have a good day 👍

Complicated and ineffucient. They should rationalize the system to make it more convenient.
Jakarta is trying its best
The Skytrain was built to accommodate passengers moving between terminals 1, 2 and 3 (soon terminal 4 will be added) with a distance between terminals of around 2-6 km. That's why they use the central station system for airport trains.
Go travel dude! If you called that complicated, you live under a rock!
IDK why but I think this fake account belongs to a disgruntled Indonesian who has nothing to do in life other than mocking their own country.
Shame on you!
Jakarta one the best of the The Philippines. Philippines is nothing the best, but just only discrimination.
What is the point talking about Philippines on Jakarta video?
