Thanks Glenn, really enjoyed the interview, very low key but some interesting questions I had not heard before. Your comment about the band pretty much nailed it Glenn...there really is only a few really great bands with great talent and these Ladies are right at the top of the heap for sure. Was glad to see this. My personal opinion, time is very short where they open for any band, think bands will be honored to open for them. Cherrs.
What a great interview. Not too many of the pre-packaged questions that everyone asks. I liked the chill nature of it. I also find it cute that Ale is officially the back story teller.
The Warning are more experienced than the interviewers. They know what thier strengths are and take control of any situation. DPA are an extraordinary example of how to present/conduct oneself. ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ THANK YOU ⚡ ⚡ ⚡
This is something I observed myself, after watching many interviews with The Warning, most interviewers do not know how to ask concise open ended questions and instead they keep on rambling.
Hello Glenn!… ha ha ha I started laughing the same as you when Ale started talking about the early days, the piano lessons and so on 😅, yeap, she’s now the responsible telling that story…. I think Pau is really funny and for sure the most creative one, but for me the funniest one (and the most authentic one) is definitely Dany! She brings the joy, I agree! But I love them all, and of course their music. ⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 I also completely agree with you about this interview and about the interviewer.
One early interview they did in Canada, the hosts brought them breakfast. This was more of a chat and affirmation of already existing impressions and less of a questioning process. That said, while everyone else can talk about their trainers and acupuncture and stuff, The Warning are probably the only ones that can say they have their own dentist travelling with them... how's that for boujee? Keep up the good work... always worth visiting. David
Go back to 2022 with their 3DG tour and watch “The Road The Stage Ep 79” for a really excellent Canadian interview. In fact, people like to credit Alison with their best interview but in my book, she took very close notice of it before her first interview with them. Same back in 2015 with Cathy. Alberta interviews are top tier and I have other thoughts I’ll keep to myself.
So glad to see them focusing on their physical health now. I hope their bottom line supports this all the time. Possibly including a PT too. It appeared to keep them healthy this last tour. They've all been banged up over the years. Nothing more valuable than their health. ADWARD! If making you smile translates to being funny, Dany's one of the funniest people on the planet...:)
I think Pau is probably funny due to her outsized personality. Flamboyant and dramatic! Dany is frequently funny in a goofy way, and it’s so damn endearing when she does it. I’ve watched enough vlogs and such to know damn well that Ale is easily the most sarcastically funny. She’s brutal sometimes.
26:40 to be fair still to this day this happens, I believe it has always depended on who the headliner is and the show they put. In September I went to watch Metallica all four nights here in Mexico City and there were 5 opening acts, out of those 5 bands 3 were really good, 1 I couldn’t hear it due to time constraints but man there was this band called Greta Van Fleet, I had the (personally speaking) misfortune of hearing them twice the crowd mostly couldn’t stand them we were sooo bored, but Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills have and awesome live sound and show; even if you haven’t listened to them before they get you hyped.
Hello amigo, thank for this, I also agree with you with the feeling of awkwardness with the questions, I don’t know if you already reacted to this other interview th-cam.com/video/gOdapJWBCcA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=X11t_O-_9qLUdR4B is really great this one they were 15, 13 and 10 years old, and was before going to Berkley, also I can notice how they were getting to speak English you can see it on the way they speak some sentences, and Ale ohhhhh the faces of emotion she makes while her sisters speak. And if you already reacted to it let me know please to search for it, I’d love to hear what you have to say and your thoughts. By the way I consider the questions on this interview spot on, really well conducted interview for the moment where The Warning was. Hasta pronto !!!
@ great I think you'll like it. Im looking forward for your thoughts on this one. In the mean time I'll keep watching your other videos. Saludos y gracias!!
Here's something a little bit different from New Zealand. Pearl Jam pulled a young fan up on stage with them to play guitar. Neil Young cover, Rockin in the Free World. From 10th November this year. th-cam.com/video/qbCn0RxR3WE/w-d-xo.html
That was a laid back interview with Dany the funny one providing the humor. She cracks me up 😂 Pau that was a little cocky and condescending cringe moment, not sure when she's funny. I think the interviewer wanted to make it more like a conversation. Not sure she accomplished that lol
The interviewer had to interview the Warning at one hour’s notice. Considering this, she did a perfectly acceptable job. We’re biased because we follow the Warning for a considerable amount of time. This interviewer is an employee who got an assignment to cover one band performing at a venue in their area on a certain night. She knew about the Warning, but she certainly hasn’t watched the amount of previous interviews that any of us here in the video or the comment section have. But she got them to talk and even to reveal some not so often discussed BTS stuff. She gave them the idea of visiting a dog shelter to play with puppies to relax (which they did only days afterwards). DPA obviously didn’t get a bad impression of her at all, so we can be a bit less snobbish about the journalist’s work ourselves. Perhaps we might see her doing another interview with the band next time they come to Montreal. I would not be surprised to see her do very well on a second attempt, I am quite sure that she found the girls very nice and interesting people herself, and will be better prepared next time - she might even take the initiative with her boss, who obviously set her up a bit this time around.
I don’t think it was snobbish to notice the problems and talk about them. It’s not best practice to drop an assignment on their employee at the last moment. We can see the results. The band are professionals, not divas, so they aren’t in the position outsiders are in to be able to discuss any issues they may have with the interview. The org might even appreciate this being discussed because they will know to avoid setting up future interviewers with a similar handicap.
Have you done their “The Road The Stage” interview? It’s from their Canada tour a couple years ago but it’s (along with Alison) an interview done perfectly. Just a great hang-out & chat but it flows so nice. It’s also where the movable Do thing was mentioned. & SUPER Canadian😊. th-cam.com/video/skvv4W8_GkA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9vqxz6PF5ShGyEh4
There’s a much better interview uploaded around the same time as this one by “American Musical Supply.” The interview is from the start of this year’s North American tour and is a lot less sleepy as this one.
My thought was being in Montreal, maybe English isn’t her first language? She seemed to be thinking about what she was saying as she was talking. Who knows, but a script would have helped.
I’m a Warning fanatic…. Thank you Glenn for the overall coverage of this amazing band.
Thanks, Glenn and Adrian.

Yes, they are exceptional musicians and human beings and performers.
Great reaction Glenn.

Thank you Glenn! The Warning!

Having been to Canada can say people are very chill and atleast the people i was whit was very go whit the flow a hakuna matata mentality if you will

Ale, teller of the origin story!
Danys instinct to pass the mic to Ale for the backstory 🤣
Yeah Dani and Pau are tired of that, so now is Ale's turn to put in the work and not sit there looking pretty😊
The interviewer ask a few interesting questions, but it seems like she wasn’t really prepared, and was coming up with them on the fly.

Specially when they were playing video games.

I remember Covid era in the TW discord I made a dad joke and Dany appreciated it lol
When they are talking near the beginning Ale try’s to nudge Pau very slightly to get het to hide her ticket. Later on Ale tries to cover it up.
Good catch

We haven't seen this one yet, and people ask for it once in awhile. Thanks for mentioning it, we'll see!

Is this the biggest crowd you played infront of ?? . . .
No . 🤣 . .. . .
70k with Muse

Yes . . Early history is Ales department lol . .
Not a big Led Zep fan either . . Funny though my aunty was Jimmy Pages house keeper lol .
👍👋🇳🇿twa
Pau is not the funny one at all, entertaining but not funny.
