i don't know if those were actually additional cabinets underneath the island. it looks like they just used paneling on the back of the island cabinets that match the cabinet fronts. i could be wrong

Beautiful home. Only thing I’d do is knock down that wall dividing the front room and kitchen to give it a more open concept.
