Yes chechi there is a small shack near my house. A man sells kappa and plantain, padam both green and red along with madras onion. He had sold this oil to me with all ingredients still in the bottle. He told me that I can refill the bottle with thenga tailam once the bottle oil got finished. In 10 days second batch of oil was ready. Its a fantastic oil.

@@AuthenticKerala The other videos i have seen on TH-cam, they have directly added the herbs in the oil and heated it in a kadai . Why are we using double boiler method? Can we not heat the herbs in the oil directly instead of double boiler method. I had seen her previous video where she had mentioned that if you heat the oil in kadai for too long then the result wouldn't be good, it will start causing hair breakage. Cac anyone please clarify this.

What is the difference between indigo powder and henna powder ??
Indigo is a natural dye that is obtained from the plant Indigofera tinctoria. It's rich, dark blue in color.
Indigofera tinctoria is also known as Nil, Nili, Aviri, etc. It is oldest known natural dye used for printing, textile and hair coloring.
To produce natural Indigo powder, the leaves from the Indigo plant are soaked overnight, which results in the water turning blue.
This mixture is then sun-dried till the leaves dry up and become crisp. When the leaves are completely dried up, they are powdered to obtain the Indigo powder.
Henna powder is made from the dried leaves of Henna plant

im confused aswell, because from traditional ayurvedic texts herbs were boiled in the oil - thats what i've come across
