I remember finally watching the movie after about 4 years of its release, I wasn't trying to see it, an opportunity just came up so I did, it was at a friend's house, started watching pretty late, so I finished the movie alone since he fell asleep due to already seeing it and being tired..
The experience was pretty surreal, a still late lonely night, with this one hell of a story unfolding in front of you.. after the screen went black while the theme song played, I silently left the place, got into my car, drove home with the movies theme song playing, it was a late drive and one of the most disassociating ones ill probably ever have, felt so detached, strange, but even more strangely, ok with it all..
