During his church's live morning service today, Bishop Reed took time to address the recent criticism he has been receiving across the media regarding his marriage to a 19 year old member of his church.

And they can only walk away from the engagement if one of them have committed fornication. Other than that they can't even break off the engagement. Read Matthew 1:18. My mother was married to my father and he both abused and cheated on her. The only reason why she divorced him was because he held her at gun point with me in her arms. Soon after that, my father passed away.

I really can't say but He did say in His word what He have joined together, let no man separate them. But again He didn't say the spouses couldn't separate. And He didn't say they could separate. But IF they separate, they must remain married. Now my next question....would I had stayed with a man that held my child and I at gun point. Absolutely not. As I said earlier, the bible states that IF THE SPOUSES SEPARATE, THEY ARE TO REMAIN MARRIED.
