I want to know where we will run the fetch command? In case of pull command we execute in our working local directory but for fetch where we will execute?
Hey Naveen is there any option to backup master branch..? suppose some how 1 person from team merged mashed\buggy code to master and other members clone that master to their local directory, how can we roll it..?
Hi Jitendra , That is the beauty of git , we can go back to any stage in the history!, I think $git rest --hard will do. Here commit-id will be the one just before merge . Better you can do it in a test setup. ( I am not an expert , so any one can confirm , this is the way need to do ? )
Naveen , one question in pull topic 14:49 . 'pull' is a single command to do 'fetch' + 'merge' right ?. So while we execute 'pull' command 'fetch' and 'merge' steps are happening in background , right ? . Sorry if I am wrong
Bro, request you to please please make a video on estimation and costing for automation projects, this is much needed as there is a lot of different concepts and its too confusing. in my company I have been asked to create a estimator. there are lot of available online but I want to follow a generic approach.
