Thx for the idea on the Nicks leather insole. I have a pair of Drews on their modified 55 last that I wouldnt mind fitting a tad more snug. Hate wearing thicker socks so maybe those insoles will do the trick. Edit: already got them in the mail today and they are prefect. My boots went from a tad loose to a nice and snug fit. They feel like they belong there as well, not like when you get gel insoles and it just feels off, never liked those things.
I agree with most of the points you made in your review.
I have a pair of Drew's Logger boots (got this before they released the Contractor) and I think they're great value due to the thick leather, support, and components. Although I think I would have been happier with a pair of White's in term of looks. My biggest gripe has been the modified 55 last. The heel doesn't hug nicely and the top of the arch area feels loose. Might get myself a leather insole since you mention it gives a better fit.
I think I prefer the C350 Cruiser from Whites over Drews Contractors in terms of look, fit, and leather options
Thank you for the review. Updates would be appreciated.
Good review! I’m considering these vs nicks. I like the price point on these. Cheers friend.
Thank you! Let me know what you decide. If you can save up the price difference, the Nick's boots are definitely worth it in my opinion because they have way more options and some amazing leathers to choose from.
Great video brother, I was debating on getting these or the Nick’s, I went with the Nick’s and am glad I did, I think the build quality is better in my opinion, I went with the black wax flesh
Waxed flesh is a great leather! Very low maintenance and more water resistant
I find Nick's are more consistent. But I love my Drew's Contractors.
