I’ve been on a pom pom squad kick for a few months now-and each time i’m overwhelmed with how much i love this band. The aesthetics, mia’s voice, how the sound can go from grungy punk rock to these fucking ballads that make me cry in the car. As a queer woman of color (who also grew up in white suburbia) the story that i get from all their lyrics reflect my upbringing so much. It’s like a mirror i listen to. I love this band and i cant wait to see what they make next💞💞💞

I don't get what people think that olivia stole from this video. Olivia's good 4 U is LITERALLY a homage to jennifer's body. The aesthetic, the scenes, all of that video screans jeniffer's body (the movie, not the hole song). Head cheerleader has a lot of 80-90's dark teen movie (heathers being the one that poped up in my head as soons as I've seen the first scene). Totaly different styles of filming and different eras of teen dramas. Both fitting the narrative of the songs
