Launching on July 2, The First Descendant is a next generation third-person co-op action RPG shooter (looter shooter) featuring high-quality graphics developed using Unreal Engine 5. Sry but as a beta played person plz lower your expectation. Graphic is only improved from Anthem personally... Impact was the worst...
Dont look at this as an Anthem filler cause that will be the reason for hate
Hope so. People jump on the Anthem hatewagon, but my biggest complaint was that they didn't stick around and flesh out the endgame. The bones were there and the bones were great

I had so much fun in the crossplay open beta week last year. I launched the game and just melted away in the awesome world these devs have created. I can't wait to see how much has been expanded with the full release. The cutscenes are so well done and probably look even better now. I remember joining a mission with 3 other randos and we vibed so well off each other that we played through the last 40% of the available short campaign together. The community was really chill and positive. Hope it stays that way. Bunny is no doubt the star and mascot for this game. Oh and that frost queen in the void was a pain in the ass lol.
What platform were you using? I played on PS5, and it felt a little clunky to me.
Every game has chill comunnity that dosent have pvp.
I took part both the betas and I am so happy this game's getting released

I'm happy to see that Gley's hair no longer is constantly being pulled upwards in a gravity well when she goes super saiyan, lol. I get why it was a thing but it honestly just looked goofy.

If you’re talking about the thumbnail. That’s not Bunny’s ultimate. Her Ultimate skin is more… revealing. This other skin has been datamined to be an evolution skin and it evolves based on certain criteria met.

this has 2nd Beta vibes, the second Beta was really fun, it convinced me that this was going to be a fun game also the cross play was a really good idea.
Agree the second beta (crossplay one) was the best beta out of them having tons of story content and void intercepts!

@@CrashBashL Luckily the crossplay beta didnt see much issue with login queues. So I got some hope that the servers arent going to implode like with Destiny 2 The Final Shape.
They really been keeping up with feedback regarding the game's issues from previous betas.

God, the fights against the giant bosses look fantastic. You can even jump on them and hack away.

This game also works well in the STeam Deck.. Fps around 50+ on medium setting..really playable..
Last year I was in the trailer, now this year we get to play the full game. Looking forward to grinding this out in July!

i hope those green barrels the boss spawn are easier to destroy now, they were a reall bullet sponge in the cross play beta

Thinking of having Blair as my main from what I have seen so far of him I like his damage over time fire abilities.
Just hope launch is smooth and they mkae positive changes to the game. Beta was fun, but a lot of things needed improvement. Excited for this.

This game was made with Destiny 2 and warframe players in mind. Im so ready.

Did they improve the movement and combat feel from the last beta? I remember when i played it, that one was my biggest complaint
i havent followed this game, but i was just thinking the movement reminds me of fortnite lol. the weird backward diagonal walking, makes it look a lot cheaper than the trailer entailed :/
@@ohnosponolios4126 Thats kinda what im worried with..., it felt that cheap, without any "weight". As comparison, Monster Hunter games movements feel TOO WEIGHTY compared to that, while Warframe weight feels "just right" while First Descendant felt non-existant weight.

This looks like what anthem could’ve been. As a massive warframe player it looks like a mix of anthem and warframe and if this sticks I’m gonna be so happy to have that anthem void filled with the first descendant 😁

hey devs, do you plan on adding melee on the game? like swords and other stuff. that would be cool
There is pseudo melee with a mod slot but as for dedicated melee, I dont think so. Unless they add a descendant that is purely melee focused

Is the low frame rate in the video something we need to prepare for?
Luckily the only frame rate issue I had with the game and many others is frame hitching and they have stated that is on their list of fixes.

Seriously, this type of aesthetic is so cool on games, but it's very rare. Anthem was going to be it but then it went downhill, Warframe also has it. But imo, this one got it perfectly.

How will the PS4/XB1 versions run i wonder..seeing as this game was made with Unreal Engine 5 the devs probably had to cut corners
The performance was pretty bad in the last console beta, big loading times and enemy density could get a bit higher and crash the game on PS4
New engines are generally easier to run.
Really hope some of the weaker characters got buffed up to be useful.
I want everyone to know, that this is the first game I've ever play where the devs ask for feedback and I actually took the time out of my day and gave them feedback! Even if this game were to failed, I would still support them just for the dev team work ethics!
