Wow. All the top tier buster/arts supports have something that connects them to each other; Tamamo-Koyanskaya, Castoria/Artoria Avalon-Oberon, Proto Merlin-Merlin
Skills and NP are good, synergy is weird, CDs are way too long for skills 2 and 3. Good but not stellar compared to Castoria/Vitch.
But the ascensions (all of them) and FA are god tier.

The true value of Skadi comes from her art. She is one of the best pieces of eye-candy I've seen in a long time.

I like that the new Skadi's Buster toolkit also helps out some Quick Servants that didn't get the optimal support from old Skadi, like Scathach.
Those buster buffs will help Lancelot berserker out a lot.
I honestly will probably use them both in my teams when she comes to NA, I don't know if OG Skadi will get a buff after this, but to me it doesn't matter.
Skadi is my fist SSR and the amount of help she provided me during all this time is off the charts, not even herself can stop me from using her in every quick team i have.
It's so nuts how big a difference it is just having that charisma buff for the multiplicative buffs
It's not much the multiplicative buff, but the early early waves as the damage output is similar on wave 3 (and RD has outright more quick buff)
Between this and Ibuki, we may be witnessing the birth of the coomer meta
I hope OG Skadi gets buffed with a skill that’s beneficial for Quick servants and this Skadi as well. Maybe something like increasing Attack/NP Damage based on Crit Stars.
I personally don't get why there are so many people now that either claim Skadi Summer is underwhelming while others praise her to such a point they say the og Skadi is now dead lol
From what I tested so far, having both Skadis in a team with a quick dps brings best results.
OG Skadi is far from being useless. Her buffs are fantastic, she can debuff the enemy and provide lots of survivability!
She's practically the same.. 100%crit for 3t but for buster with star absorb, not really amazing or game breaking either since we don't really have too much options in quick supports
Well people though she was going to save quick meta witch could have happened if she was mostly for Focus on quick than the buster parts, as quick support only not really but own individual she's great for busters or hybrid servants tho.
@@fbihere2 Yes they are doing pretty similar things! She's definitely not a must-pull, especially not if you already have Skadi Caster. It's the same case as with Merlin, people also say og Merlin is pointless now...
They're better together if you're using a QQBB dps. We just need more quick options in general but yes I like the way they designed S. Skadi. She's worth picking up if you like quick or have more quick setups

I actually still prefer regular Skadi for supporting Quick Servants in boss fights. For a lot of Servants that can't just loop off of the NP (ie. Servants not named Kama), drawing the stars away from the quick cards and to the buster cards might actually be a disadvantage, since Skadi-boosted Quick crits give a massive amount of NP gain in fights (not to mention damage, since the buffs are stacked on one card rather than split). Summer Skadi might be better for Quick Servants with two Busters (ie. Kama) though. Also worth mentioning that as much as people meme on it regular Skadi's NP is pretty decent these days, and more support oriented than Summer Skadi's if you manage to get it off.

Hopefully not that would be the worst most power crept design ever created. Everything does not need to do everything.
Its more interesting to use them together to cover quick and buster crits. Also you can plugsuit in OG skadi to buff a quick servant to 180% card effectiveness and provide an additional 50% battery so there's that. Quick looping should be easier than ever. Just not necessarily on the same level as arts and buster.

OG Skadi does give crit damage up on the quick cards. and the new one gives crit on buster. So I guess together they are better for DPS and bosses? Do you guys think it justifies rolling for both of them or only rolling for the Ruler is enough? (speaking from an NA account that doesn't have OG Skadi yet)
Also, OG Skadi has AOE evade on NP wich can come in hand in difficult battles

I mean og skadi is great and would help any account but shes kinda overshadowed by Ruler Skadi and even before that shes overshadowed by arts and later buster. If you really like Skadi or really want to use quick then go for it but you certainly dont need both if youre willing to wait

I would prioritize summer, and rolling on og only after having her ruler version for plug shennanigans and better crit damage on quick
The value of rolling for OG skadi would depend on the DPS you want to run, as:
a) they might be able to BG loop but that requires 3 combat change and OG skadi would be the best plug option.
b) for CQ they have harder quick than buster facecard for nodes that need them to clear the rest of the bar.
I feel like this skadi is meant to be the first support for Mighty Chain meta but I mean she also just does well as a crit support for both quick and buster

@@farizahmad3036 That's true, Helena too for that matter. But Skadi should have an easier time to enable actual looping thanks to her battery (if you even can with a Mighty Chain). Might be interesting to try with Spishtar or Emiya (Archer)?

If that the cases then chiron, helena, and summer lolivinci are the closest one to be the mighty chain meta than skadi summer since they buff all type of cards
By that logic, Merlin also did it before, him being Arts itself but having Buster buffs. Same can be said for DPS's with Status NPs like QSH, Super Orion, and Van Gogh.

Honestly what quick really needed was not another ssr support but easy to obtain loopers and support units in general gacha.
When hogen is possible the only easy to use quick unit(with a lot of gacha need) you know they could have used it. Arts units gained xu Fu who is like a free castoria and buster got Chen gong who has multiple used for himself and buster
That's where quick should go next but it's probably gonna be a long time as people will say "they just got summer skadi" and such.
That's where the issue quick has always had and still has. The cost to join is high while buster and arts are nearly already set up for anyone anytime
Arts even has Paracelsus as a 3* support and Mozart as a 1*
Para can help Servants loop with just a support castoria, and mozart has a party wide 44% arts up, plus a max star bomb

Arts you don't need the top tier ssr looper to loop as welfares do that. Buster has Spartacus so you need the major loopers or just Arash.

Yeah if you can get vitch(which is easy as she comes post pity) some cu caster drops on Morgan banner. Buster is basically easy to use after that.
Bur arts is still the biggest step not needing castoria to easy farm.
Quick could honestly use a f2p support and looper to help. The quick caster guy was not a big help

Despite Ruler Skadi's brand of support aimed towards Quick units with Lancer decks, it's interesting that Bradamante and Taigong (both Quick units with an Archer deck) can now loop and enabled with Double Summer Skadi system, damn.
130% Quick Up (65% each) combined from double Summer Skadi really does make some notable differences NP gain wise.
IMO, the only buff OG skadi needs is np gain attached to the quick up. plus, if you're willing to use plugsuit (which i personally avoid at all costs, but the point stands) and plug in OG skadi, you're looking at 180% quick and 150% worth of guage. on the damage side you can clear pretty much anything and on the looping side most AOE quick will be able to 3 turn quite easily.

I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the styles and colors of glasses based on your mood is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those half rim glasses, or the thick frame glasses, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of glasses at a buffet. What would make normal Skadi somewhat better would be a heal on one of her skills. Add to the survivability aspect.
That wouldn’t really help though. You first need to protect your servants to make healing useful and this is where she runs into issues. Healing is nice but it won’t help you when a boss is about to delete your whole front line with an NP.
I think giving og skadi skill cool down and may be overcharge for 3 times on her 3rd skill would balance them out.

Summer 7/anny I would consider the best starter kit month for new players(despite the garbage of little to no reruns) having the units from arc to skadi ruler be very good for starting accounts and xu fuu with Valkyrie max append or ibuki is a good starter looper account and a lot of the other units be very good for new and old players
Better than original skadi but I wouldn't call her a huge step for quick units in general like a few steps above. With arts and buster having broken f2p and gacha supports skadi ruler could have had more to her kit and still he below her competition. Feels like fgo really doesn't want another quick situation again and overcompensate on it.
As her own looper I still think it would be better to use someone else with easier looping if you already have someone better.

@@doanhaiang1081 yeah it has it all even without super luck. The ibuki banner gives you an aoe and St arts unit. Raise xu Fu and boom you are set for a lot of farming and boss battles.
Add in Merlin prototype and you have a good survival unit with castoria. It's all positives for this summer.

Hopefully the summer 6 rerun doesnt gets canceled to complete the starter pack with Summer Da Vinci. It would be a shame if it gets cancelled (and weird considering its the summer event with Kama, Achilles, Caenis and Okita Alter in one place)

Yeah she can basically help loop all you need is append skill and Valkyrie summer comes basically free with that.
Quick needs more options other than skadi, tai gong, summer vinci and alexander especially on the lower star end i feel. Quick is going to be stuck in the skadi era and you will be a sad camper if you don't have og skadi or skadi 2.0 or both.
Yeah, I already feel my struggling using quick servants since I don't have any Skadi. I only have Alexander (idk if Osakabehime NP counts as quick support)
So what kind of buff would it take to bring OG!Skadi in line with Summer!Skadi? More battery? More Quick? A Charisma on her Def Down?
I think maybe adding some NP gain to her 50% battery would do it, too. Like 30% or even 50% since Quick's refund is worse than Arts'. A big NP gain buff on a big battery would also help push Skadi into other farming comps and make her less reliant on simply supporting the Quick meta.
Definitely a np gain, that's for sure the best buff any quick support could give, or maybe a defensive buff to maybe second skill

2 Ruler Skadi and plugsuit caster skadi for support is nuts you should try it out
1 turn skill cool down and some other effect on og skadi's 3rd skill should balance them out and we have no support for quick that reduces cool down.
S Skadi can be a little awkward in CQ that included poster girl because of her ruler class and mostly double Art cards or triple Quick can't fully have benefit from her buffs so overall, she is pretty decent but can't powercreep OG Skadi since there are just 2 good Quick buffing supports in the entire game
That full art of Skadi is just SHEEESHH... literally cannot look away from that smexy outfit, would love to snuggle up with that!

OG Skadi still is one of the best Crit team supports. The only competition for her is Van Gogh with other Existence Outside the Domain servants but Skadi doesnt have that restriction.
Since Summer Skadi has Buster Crit up on her S1 and no crit boost from her NP she's less good for crit teams, splitting up the card types between quick and buster is only good for older crit servants that had bad hit counts on their quick cards like Scathach.
Overall though you can use both for either NP or Crits and not feel a huge difference between the two.

if they do decide to buff Skadi, maybe with a 3 turn NP Damage Up on her Skill 1. Maybe they go crazy and make an attack buff that consumes stars in exchange for an attack up, who knows. Regardless though Summer Skadi is a big boost for Quick AND she's hot

I have her at NP 1 and honestly shes a looper she can even BG farm berserker nodes 3/3/3 and refund 50% at a time
looking at the 70%-100% diff in multiplier for Quick and Buster, i guess its unnecessary to give more dmg to Critical Q, its better to gave the job to B
I think they could save OG Skadi if they buffed her third skill.
Skill 3 buff: Np Gauge granted is now %60, target gains %10 np gauge every turn for 3 turns, target gets %100 buff removal resistance for 3 turns, and grants target a 3 time 3 turn on crit buff where if they crit they heal the party by 1k.
I think this buff would be good because it makes her a more reliable looper while making her a one of a kind pick for challenge quests due to the buff removal resistance. No other top tier support has BRR in their kit, even Castoria. It would be good for specific challenge quest where a break bar takes away your buffs for example. I also don’t think this buff would make the other support irrelevant. A better idea could be adding another quick support that doesn’t special in looping lol
Buff removal resistance would be só good on her! I was thinking something like a targeted NP gain only on quick cards (but the percentage would have to be really high). However NP gauge every turn would be a better solution yeah

Quick support but doesn't give the quick crit damage up. A quick DPS will want to crit with Quick cards rather than Buster cards for more refund.

She powercreeps skadi which honestly is not saying much at this point with what arts and buster have got. Some people speculate she is for the new mighty chain support but I'm not seeing it simply due to the chains only mattering really in CQ's where her lack of actual hard defence is a huge demerit.

Imo, it is a problem that what is carrying Quick to even make it a viable card type at all is just one (now two) support servants. A single servant should not carry a whole card type.
Castoria is a massive meme honestly, but at least Arts functioned fine before she was added. Same with Buster before Oberon and Koyanskaya were added.

It's a powercreep in terms of Quick farming. Bossing wise, the OG Skadi still better due to the Quick Crit. So imo they actually did a decent job of making sure OG Skadi isn't irrelevant. If anything, they work perfectly as a duo

What ruler skadi shines is assisting double buster/double quick decks that also have a quick np. (Think Okita, Melt, etc) minturn cqs.
