Maybe from the 2yrs behind NA pov. On JP, everyone said if you don't have mlb BG, get BG. With appends, there's hardly ever a situation in which you'd run kscope and still meet the dps check of 90+/++. For regular content it doesn't matter anyway.
Kscope gets way more hate than it deserves. In my eyes Kscope and BG are ranked equally in my ears because I still use them both (MLB) equally for different things. Not every servant in the game has built in amazing NP charges and relying on supports for charge as a fix doesn’t help in certain 90+ or 90++ nodes. Sometimes even using 50 battery CEs isn’t enough for your battery needs. . - MLB BG is overrated in contrast. Yes it’s the best damage value CE in the game, but compared to MLB Kscope it’s way less flexible use case on team comps. -MLB Prisma is my personal 3rd best CE out of this list just because it’s a good battery source CE for support servants that you never want to attack with, but want to still use their NP often. Shines in CQs and helps if your using slower builds with servants like Tamamo. - MLB Vol Hyd would be ranked #4 It’s just a solid support CE (that is full health stat which is what you want on supports) on either a support servant to give them added survival or can even work on a solo/anchor servant. Cu Alter for example works great with it. The 30% card color CEs are kind of whatever because if you just wanted a zero utility + zero charge based CE then you would use BG anyway unless that specific servant relied on their cards for crits rather then NPs. Even then there are better replacements. Totally forgettable and not needed for use. - Someone that already has a MLB copy of all these CEs and more annoyed we didn’t just get a servant ticket again since servants are always more interesting/worthwhile grabs then a single CE copy.
@@mrharvy100 The bigger thing about the kscope hate for old accounts is that with appends (or for the ones that they're hard to get almost any party gauge) there's little value for mlbing it, so it enables less setups than mlb grail or mlb prisma would
good thing to point out about Ocean Flyer is that because of the recent rerun on JP for Summer 6, we do get another chance at getting this CE again albeit in 2 years time
I have 7 copys of Black grail (so mlb+2) Meanwhile I've been sitting at 4/5 Kscopes for what feels like FOREVER, so im putting that personal demon to bed lol.
Exactly. Also appends is not a reason to devalue Kscope. That is such an endgame worry and those servant coins could have been used for grail levels instead if we are talking about alternatives since not every servant benefits from 20% starting charge as others.
The only reason not to use a Kscope is to not make it too easy. Very powerful. I've got 4 limit broken ones and it makes potential most levels 3 turns.
I think it would have been a good idea to include one or two upcoming event CE's as alternatives for LZO/Formalcraft like you had for Imaginary Around, even if they're inferior versions of Ocean Flier/ First Day of Filming. Just in case newer players see this list. Edit: I do also think you're talking down on Kscope a bit too much. It's still an amazing tool to have for new-ish accounts. And there are still a lot of Servants that love having Kscope as an option for 3 turn farming, either due to a lack of meaningful personal batteries, or the accounts lacking the required multiple supports needed for looping. Yes, it fell off from being the *1 busted CE, but it's still WAAAAY more useful as a generic pick than Volumen or the type CE's.
I think you might be underestimating kscope, especially for newer and weaker accounts. That starting np can make or break difficult and rapid boss/challenge fights. While it is certainly less important now than it used to bez and the value of the second and especially third onwards copies is severely diminished, having at least one copy is a massive asset. Still not my first recommendation, though my second, with a few caveats.
I mean, i use kscope on george to get the dragon trait on the enemy. It's always a useful ce to have. I even used it on Benkei to remove the buffs in the woodwose fight, since I also needed the taunt

Maybe you need to use a defensive or buff np so your DPS cannot loop back to full np gauge off of cards, so you want to delay a battery; maybe there is a break bar with a buff removal effect so you want to burst the first bar down then buff. Maybe you want to use a burst damage anchor not reliant on external charge, like Summer Jalter with her 20% battery. And it slots in well for a support like Waver with his 20% teamwide charge and you want his np right off the bat without taking charge away from the DPS. Getting an np off _without_ expending a battery has a lot of value in non-farming contexts.

Compared to a MLB Kscope that has a MUCH more versatile use case on your servant pool with how it’s a NP without having to hit a single skill button, Cosmos is mainly a support CE for slower nodes so it’s way more limited in comparison with a smaller pool of servant targets you would realistically use it for.
@@mrharvy100 because cosmos is used in "harder fights" and your support/s need consistent/ sustained np charge because 90% of the time, you won't be clicking your support aside from boss mechanics like the touta fight.
@@mrharvy100 Because we already know what will happen later on the content we are getting. Especially right now, FGO is leaning more on a playstyle where we literally have to stall bosses just so we can progress. It's the reason why Cosmos got a huge usability in this case.
Black grail is just a given to be better. So many bosses can appear that just drain np and damage is more useful than starting charge Plus even a new account you get waver xuu fuu and can roll SIbuki for a strong set up with friend castoria and black grail to make up for the damage
@@luckyroller9636 Uh. I don't know how common that is. People crack and break and exploit damage buffed Servants all the time, and Black Grail is the main reason that happens. It plus Oberon is just massive damage not comparable to anything else.
I have MLB Black Grail already, and also 1 copy of KScope. Probably will choose another KScope, because I also have 1 copy at least of other CEs. I don't have the invis one but I don't really care about it
MLB black grail let's goooo. Could have mentioned the Berserker BG as option to it. Yes its more niche, but since you can use Berserkers pretty much everywhere, its definatly viable
JP player here, I got a copy of Prisma Cosmos because it was the only copy that I didn't MLB,( except for the invincibility one), I have só many copies of Kscope and Black Grail that I think I have at least 2 MLB each.
In my honest opinion, considering overall utility for both new and veterans: Kaleidoscope > Black grail > Anything else (they all have good f2p accessible alternatives) In my particular case I'm one Kaleido short of having TWO SUPERSCOPES as a f2p, and even after years, my black grail has ZERO limit breaks, so I definitely know which one I'm picking. I really want that juicy MLB Black Grail with 2400 ATK....
Prisma Cosmos is super nice for the invincible comp, makes it so much more consistent when the enemy either has low hitcounts/lowers your NP gain or even worse drains NP.
BG even for noobs as much as kscope is a account changer in early game imo you really only need 1 or 2 copies in your account that once you get a 2nd or 3rd copy you'd wish its a copy of BG to able to MLB it
It's kind of funny, back in the day before Castoria even existed, when I started NA waaaay back, like Christmas 2 - I got MLB Black Grail within span of like a few months and at the time was really mad about it, because kscope was kind of important back then. Well, come Christmas 3 - I had a grailed Chloe who scored me so many FP just by nature of being able to solo the last wave with MLB Black Grail and since then I just kind of used it everywhere, then Castoria came out and the rest is history... kind of wild to think how it went from a very niche but nice CE to "oh, well might as well slap this on."
I hard disagree it should be broken down as early/mid game and/or F2P/dolphin get Kscope it will let play the game however you want and allows you to do simple 3T farming. Late game and/or whale, go for black grail, it basically lets your fully leveled servants or high np servants complete the higher level content in the game.
I only ever got 1 hp kdscope, and tbh it was never relevant never did help in my playstyle nor enabled characters. Even with kdscope shishio is so bad so telling people kdscope is pretty good can be misleading. What you ever need is batteries, and the easy to get 50% NP ce.

Definitely not optimal, but since I like to use Penth a lot, I found sticking a Volumen on her to be a pretty good way of keeping her alive through stuff like boss aoe attacks. At least makes her more dependable than without it
Yeah it’s best used on either supports that has no hard survival + benefits more from full HP or if your using it on a Berserker (usually as an anchor). Cu Alter gets a lot of value from it because that is A LOT of layerd damage ignores
Have 4 Kaleidoscope and the gacha gods had to spite me with a copy of the newer version. Will be MLBing it with this, especially since I already have MLB Black Grail
I have eight copies of Heavens Feel as a mostly free to play player. I randomly came to having 3 black grail copies last year finally after playing from day one.
I have Ocean Flier and Cranking, so no need for Art/Buster. I need to work on them though. I'll do Ocean Flier first because my current Art CE, Dive to Blue, is not all that great. On the other hand, I have five maxed Buster CE, including two Aerial Dive and a Holy King of Twilight(which I think is better than L/ZO). So it would be a minor upgrade/side grade at most. I don't really do Quick stuff... I have a MLB BG, so it's basically between Kscope and PC. I do have some of both, so I'm going Kscope, as I think it's more useful to MLB for tower event. I think I'm gonna want 7 Kscope (1 MLB + 2 normal) before going for PC MLB. Though that would likely take many, many years.
I already have a black grail 2/5 (Yes, i used it 1 black grail copy just to put the main in lvl 40, i regret every single second of it) So i will go for kscope, even though i dont use it that much in farming, i dont have any copy of It, so its perfect for my support servants, the 75% of mlb sakura ce its just sad, for 5%? I wish A Fragment of 2030 was a choice: I have maxed Black Grail, K Scope and Prisma Cosmos. Only need one more Fragment, but I just can't seem to get it, lol.
Because future ,most of unit has alot of good NP refund with their support so Kscop is not amazing anymore , example here is Arc ,she has 100refund but lack of dmg so black grail is amazing for her .this just my explanation , everything still your decision .
I have one Black Grail I got from a Kama banner that got me as excited as my actual target. I didn't use it that much... yet. I know HP pools are gonna go brrrrr. I have the bad Kscope, the HP scaling one, and no Prisma Cosmos. I see MLB Black Grail like a distant dream, but it's true that those extra 20 levels are a thing to consider.
I'd say if you are a brand new player...like first getting started. K-scope is probably the preferred choice to help you in content until your account is more built. Otherwise Blk.Grail is the go-to option if your account is stacked and make use of Blk.Grail.
If you can't MLB black grail or only have 1 copy, don't pick it, having 1 copy of black grail is enough. Kscope is a lot better especially if you aren't a whale and don't have strong account yet..
A lot of the 5☆ CEs really suck... how are they considered worthy to be in the same pool as Black Grail, Kscope and a 'few' others... let alone some of those mediocre 5☆ Event CEs...
Prisma cosmos is very insane for any support and even some dps like Draco once s.merlin hits na. I still would argue for kscope as a choice BUT I do agree BG is a better choice even if its your first copy of the CE
I mean…in my case I have a maxed Kscope and 1 extra, and have only ever had a single black grail copy. So getting 1 more copy of black grail was worthwhile
Imma get prisma cosmo. I was lucky and managed to MLB a black grail with less than 3 years of playing this and i have 3 Kscopes imma try my luck and see if i can mlb it with natural rolls.
Been playing the game for 6 years and still don't have an MLB Kscope or MLB Black Grail. All the other CEs in this list have been MLB'd ages ago. I only got 3 Kscopes and 2 Black Grails, so even with the free copy, I still won't be able to MLB either. I'm definitely choosing Black Grail, because as Myst said in the video, MLB Kscope is just not as valuable anymore now that appends exist.
tbf, if you aren't whaling then you still have to choose between appends and raising the level cap. So appends aren't everything. That said, all my farming servants have that one unlocked and maxed. My MLB kscope is only good for the servant I'm working to get to 120...
@@ravenwraith1017 But most servants will never be grailed beyond level 100, so unlocking appends is no problem. And the ones that get raised to level 120 are usually favorites that people roll several copies of anyway, so most likely they'll still be able to unlock at least one of their appends (which is gonna be the NP charge one 99% of the time anyway). Also, while whaling makes it easier of course, it is not strictly necessary if you just save up long enough or get lucky (or both). I have a level 120 Eresh with all appends unlocked that I never used any paid quartz for. I'm usually a low spender / dolphin, but my Eresh is completely F2P.

I'm going for Black Grail, without a doubt. With the ticket, I can finally limit break it to max. Got multiple copies of Kaleidoscope (80%), hits 100% np with 20% append skill anyways.
I have 4 out of 5 Kscopes, would you guys recommend going for MLB or stick with several "smaller" ones, as that way i can use them on more Servants instead of only one! (If it matters, i have all the Major Supports except Merlin)
I have it MLB, I don't think it changes much either way. Most of the time using the 50% charge CEs ends up being the better choice in CQs for the secondary effects and you already uses the AoE Charge skills T1. Unless you have like 2 servants in the back you like to use that need an MLB one it won't chance either way.
Myst being a whale affects his judgement a little here. Sure, if you have 0 BGs or 4 BGs, getting one is better than any other option, regardless of what else do you have. But if have 1-3 BGs and not a single scope, scope edges out. Mostly because the best practice for an F2P player is simply to assume that you will never see a single copy of either one of them for the rest of your life, because it is the most likely outcome. Same if I have zero of Prisma Cosmos and 1-3 BGs
If you already have 1-3 BGs and 0 Kscope, BG still wins by a large margin. Being closer to the MLB by skipping one of the rng checks and getting more LVs(more attack) is already plenty helpful. While Kscope is worse than the free 50% charge CEs in a lot of cases. It is only helpful if the player really wants to 5-slot buster loop with some buster servants outside events, something worse than a f2p arts comps. Events you will be using a 50% charge CE and plug either way.
Im a new player so sorry if this dounds dumb but how do you get some of the "Free CE's" that were mentioned? Were they really free? Like could I i just get them? I really wanted ocean flyer but I'm guessing its not coming back anytime soon huh :(
Yeah the free ones I showed in the video are either CEs from past events or upcoming ones. Ocean Flyer is luckily coming back since the rerun happened this year on JP but unfortunately as an NA player you will have to wait nearly 2 years for it.
Stupid question about The Black Grail, but gonna ask anyway. On the bottom right corner are those her fingers? Because they don't have fingernails, but she doesn't have any on her right hand either, altho they are far away to see clearly. So those are her fingers and she is reaching out for me to hold her hand or dance or whatnot, right? But then the flower bouquet is on her dress or on her forearm? OR is it the hand of someone else, just those fingers are bending in a silly way?
Irisviel is the receptacle of the Grail, the one that in FZ morphs into the Grail. If you watched the animes of the fate franchise, you'll see the Grail is both a magical artifact that is linked to the source and an amalgamation of the obscurity of humanity. There are other servants that use the Grail and you see those hands like Kiara.
i hard disagree with the kscope take if anything its more valuable than ever thanks to append now even one copy lets any servant np turn 1 no need for any other servant. like even if we put aside all the specific strats that that enables it still lets you do easy farming with minimum thought needed and sometimes thats just so good. alot of the times i just go you know what front row gets the np charge CEs that they need and then ill comeback later and refine it because my mind is on other things but i need mats and this is quick and easy.
Skill appends, np gauge skills and batteries made kdscope a lot less relevant now than then. We have reached a gameplay where refund is more important than free np in turn 1, since there's Melussine and also Arcueid.
This is almost here, back when I leaned of this via JP i was going for Prisma (story content fights, which I've since done already) then Kscope until Appends came out, i have 4 copies of Kscope on my Main, but i can't remember the last time i used it, of the 3 colours, the Rin one is MLB on both my accounts, I'll be going for BG, my Alt has 3 copies, so hopefully the coming Gatcha i pull on will feature a copy or two, I'll pick after I'm done rolling GSSR and Anni Servant.
I started playing FGO for Tamamo Lancer, a few months before her first ever banner in NA. Every SQ was saved for this banner. And I got super lucky. A Waver spook, a Kscope and a Tama Lancer. This Kscope from the very first banner I ever rolled on is still to this day the only copy of Kscope I have. And I have every other CEs on this list at MLB. Even two MLB black grails. So after 6 years I will finally get my second Kscope. Selective luck I guess.
In case some of you didn't know, the "demerit" of BG also activates Caren's passive to give her EVEN more damage on top of it all. So yeah, that CE is kinda funny in how the recurring damage can be a straight up boon instead.
I finally got an MLB Kscope and leveled it to 100 right before the append system came out. I still use it a fair amount in CQs and story quests, since certain 3 and 4 stars still don't have much in the way of charge, and it suits quick looping decently, depending on the servant. ...But yeah, I'll be grabbing a Black Grail.
I'm definitely going for the K-scope on both accounts, having only been able to draw 3 copies on my main and 2 copies on my alt. Sure, if all my Servants had their A2 maxed, that would be a different story. But, being a non-whale, I have very many NP1-2 SRs which don't even have any appends unlocked, and, of course, I don't have the Lores to max everyone who does. Of course both accounts have BG MLB'd or I'd go for that one, but getting closer to MLBing the venerable scope takes much higher priority over Prisma Cosmos for me. My Castorias always run hard content with the Amakusa CE anyway (too bad that one's missing here or I might've picked it over the Kscope).
I have 2 copies of Kaleidoscope and 4 copies of Black Grail. The decision couldn't be easier. I created plenty of CE bombs during the learning with Manga event so it will be an instant upgrade to 100 once MLBed.

Your Heavens feel take there was too biased. There is no way you would take a lv20 non-mlb black grail over a lv100 Heavens feel. You trade 1100 ATK for 10 NP damage + 500 hp demerit which is definitely not worth.
Yeah but you assume anyone would level Heaven's Feel to a high level which if anything, is biased from your end. There's so many amazing free CEs you would prio instead to level up and most people can't even get CEs to 100 easily. As someone who has 30-40 lvl 100 CEs, Heaven's Feel isn't even 50 for me.
I didnt even have one copy of black grail for the longest time , then last year i got my first copy and that somehow opened some kind of gate. I have it mlb now, so i guess I'll get prisma

If you’re new or don’t have Kscope get it. Don’t listen to him your account is stronger with 1 kscope then having 1 black grail

Because we already know what will happen later on the content we are getting. Especially right now, FGO is leaning more on a playstyle where we literally have to stall bosses just so we can progress. It's the reason why Cosmos got a huge usability in this case.
Black grail is just a given to be better. So many bosses can appear that just drain np and damage is more useful than starting charge
Plus even a new account you get waver xuu fuu and can roll SIbuki for a strong set up with friend castoria and black grail to make up for the damage
Bosses can just buff themselves so that your 80 np damage means nothing we can play tit tat all day
@@luckyroller9636 Uh. I don't know how common that is. People crack and break and exploit damage buffed Servants all the time, and Black Grail is the main reason that happens. It plus Oberon is just massive damage not comparable to anything else.

I have np2 Draco and Tiamat and only have one copy of the 5* event CE, when the game says no there's nothing you can do.

I still envy your gacha luck. I had to go pretty hard to even get NP1 Draco, but I did end up with two MLBs of the 5* CE.
I have MLB Black Grail already, and also 1 copy of KScope. Probably will choose another KScope, because I also have 1 copy at least of other CEs. I don't have the invis one but I don't really care about it

Could have mentioned the Berserker BG as option to it. Yes its more niche, but since you can use Berserkers pretty much everywhere, its definatly viable
JP player here, I got a copy of Prisma Cosmos because it was the only copy that I didn't MLB,( except for the invincibility one), I have só many copies of Kscope and Black Grail that I think I have at least 2 MLB each.
In my honest opinion, considering overall utility for both new and veterans:
Kaleidoscope > Black grail > Anything else (they all have good f2p accessible alternatives)
In my particular case I'm one Kaleido short of having TWO SUPERSCOPES as a f2p, and even after years, my black grail has ZERO limit breaks, so I definitely know which one I'm picking. I really want that juicy MLB Black Grail with 2400 ATK....
I have NP5 BG and KScope, so it's the Prisma Cosmos for me.
Prisma Cosmos is super nice for the invincible comp, makes it so much more consistent when the enemy either has low hitcounts/lowers your NP gain or even worse drains NP.
BG even for noobs as much as kscope is a account changer in early game imo you really only need 1 or 2 copies in your account that once you get a 2nd or 3rd copy you'd wish its a copy of BG to able to MLB it
It's kind of funny, back in the day before Castoria even existed, when I started NA waaaay back, like Christmas 2 - I got MLB Black Grail within span of like a few months and at the time was really mad about it, because kscope was kind of important back then. Well, come Christmas 3 - I had a grailed Chloe who scored me so many FP just by nature of being able to solo the last wave with MLB Black Grail and since then I just kind of used it everywhere, then Castoria came out and the rest is history... kind of wild to think how it went from a very niche but nice CE to "oh, well might as well slap this on."

I hard disagree it should be broken down as early/mid game and/or F2P/dolphin get Kscope it will let play the game however you want and allows you to do simple 3T farming. Late game and/or whale, go for black grail, it basically lets your fully leveled servants or high np servants complete the higher level content in the game.
I only ever got 1 hp kdscope, and tbh it was never relevant never did help in my playstyle nor enabled characters.
Even with kdscope shishio is so bad so telling people kdscope is pretty good can be misleading.
What you ever need is batteries, and the easy to get 50% NP ce.

Definitely not optimal, but since I like to use Penth a lot, I found sticking a Volumen on her to be a pretty good way of keeping her alive through stuff like boss aoe attacks. At least makes her more dependable than without it
Yeah it’s best used on either supports that has no hard survival + benefits more from full HP or if your using it on a Berserker (usually as an anchor). Cu Alter gets a lot of value from it because that is A LOT of layerd damage ignores
Also worth noting you can’t remove the CE Invis so that actually matters in buff removal CEs.

I have eight copies of Heavens Feel as a mostly free to play player. I randomly came to having 3 black grail copies last year finally after playing from day one.
Prisma Cosmos is the only one on this list I don't have an MLB of yet, and just need 1 more to MLB it. Easy pick for me.
I have Ocean Flier and Cranking, so no need for Art/Buster. I need to work on them though. I'll do Ocean Flier first because my current Art CE, Dive to Blue, is not all that great. On the other hand, I have five maxed Buster CE, including two Aerial Dive and a Holy King of Twilight(which I think is better than L/ZO). So it would be a minor upgrade/side grade at most.

I have a MLB BG, so it's basically between Kscope and PC. I do have some of both, so I'm going Kscope, as I think it's more useful to MLB for tower event. I think I'm gonna want 7 Kscope (1 MLB + 2 normal) before going for PC MLB. Though that would likely take many, many years.
I already have a black grail 2/5 (Yes, i used it 1 black grail copy just to put the main in lvl 40, i regret every single second of it)

Since the release of the kopescope I've gotten 3 of them while my Kaleidoscope is still only 1 copy away from MLB
Because future ,most of unit has alot of good NP refund with their support so Kscop is not amazing anymore , example here is Arc ,she has 100refund but lack of dmg so black grail is amazing for her .this just my explanation , everything still your decision .
I have one Black Grail I got from a Kama banner that got me as excited as my actual target. I didn't use it that much... yet. I know HP pools are gonna go brrrrr. I have the bad Kscope, the HP scaling one, and no Prisma Cosmos. I see MLB Black Grail like a distant dream, but it's true that those extra 20 levels are a thing to consider.
I'd say if you are a brand new player...like first getting started. K-scope is probably the preferred choice to help you in content until your account is more built. Otherwise Blk.Grail is the go-to option if your account is stacked and make use of Blk.Grail.
If you can't MLB black grail or only have 1 copy, don't pick it, having 1 copy of black grail is enough. Kscope is a lot better especially if you aren't a whale and don't have strong account yet..
A lot of the 5☆ CEs really suck... how are they considered worthy to be in the same pool as Black Grail, Kscope and a 'few' others... let alone some of those mediocre 5☆ Event CEs...
I have pretty much every perma 5 star CE including some MLBs, but 0 BGs. Kind of sad that it got to this point, but at least I can have one now.
Since I have everything at least once MLB. I'm gona pick a second kscope since I'm one away from second MLB and 2nd MLB BG isn't really necessary.
Prisma cosmos is very insane for any support and even some dps like Draco once s.merlin hits na. I still would argue for kscope as a choice BUT I do agree BG is a better choice even if its your first copy of the CE

Imma get prisma cosmo. I was lucky and managed to MLB a black grail with less than 3 years of playing this and i have 3 Kscopes imma try my luck and see if i can mlb it with natural rolls.
Been playing the game for 6 years and still don't have an MLB Kscope or MLB Black Grail. All the other CEs in this list have been MLB'd ages ago. I only got 3 Kscopes and 2 Black Grails, so even with the free copy, I still won't be able to MLB either. I'm definitely choosing Black Grail, because as Myst said in the video, MLB Kscope is just not as valuable anymore now that appends exist.
tbf, if you aren't whaling then you still have to choose between appends and raising the level cap. So appends aren't everything. That said, all my farming servants have that one unlocked and maxed. My MLB kscope is only good for the servant I'm working to get to 120...
@@ravenwraith1017 But most servants will never be grailed beyond level 100, so unlocking appends is no problem. And the ones that get raised to level 120 are usually favorites that people roll several copies of anyway, so most likely they'll still be able to unlock at least one of their appends (which is gonna be the NP charge one 99% of the time anyway).
Also, while whaling makes it easier of course, it is not strictly necessary if you just save up long enough or get lucky (or both). I have a level 120 Eresh with all appends unlocked that I never used any paid quartz for. I'm usually a low spender / dolphin, but my Eresh is completely F2P.

If you have NP5 Arceid + maxed out Black Grail + Koyanskaya, you basically cleared FGO

i would actually say that for New Players K-Scope is the better one.
For Veterans Black Grail is the better one.

I don't think it changes much either way.
Most of the time using the 50% charge CEs ends up being the better choice in CQs for the secondary effects and you already uses the AoE Charge skills T1.
Unless you have like 2 servants in the back you like to use that need an MLB one it won't chance either way.
Myst being a whale affects his judgement a little here. Sure, if you have 0 BGs or 4 BGs, getting one is better than any other option, regardless of what else do you have.
But if have 1-3 BGs and not a single scope, scope edges out. Mostly because the best practice for an F2P player is simply to assume that you will never see a single copy of either one of them for the rest of your life, because it is the most likely outcome. Same if I have zero of Prisma Cosmos and 1-3 BGs
If you already have 1-3 BGs and 0 Kscope, BG still wins by a large margin.
Being closer to the MLB by skipping one of the rng checks and getting more LVs(more attack) is already plenty helpful.
While Kscope is worse than the free 50% charge CEs in a lot of cases.
It is only helpful if the player really wants to 5-slot buster loop with some buster servants outside events, something worse than a f2p arts comps.
Events you will be using a 50% charge CE and plug either way.
Taking Black Grail as it's the only one I haven't MLB'd at least once and one more will let me do so.

Yeah the free ones I showed in the video are either CEs from past events or upcoming ones. Ocean Flyer is luckily coming back since the rerun happened this year on JP but unfortunately as an NA player you will have to wait nearly 2 years for it.

Stupid question about The Black Grail, but gonna ask anyway. On the bottom right corner are those her fingers? Because they don't have fingernails, but she doesn't have any on her right hand either, altho they are far away to see clearly. So those are her fingers and she is reaching out for me to hold her hand or dance or whatnot, right? But then the flower bouquet is on her dress or on her forearm? OR is it the hand of someone else, just those fingers are bending in a silly way?
Irisviel is the receptacle of the Grail, the one that in FZ morphs into the Grail. If you watched the animes of the fate franchise, you'll see the Grail is both a magical artifact that is linked to the source and an amalgamation of the obscurity of humanity.
There are other servants that use the Grail and you see those hands like Kiara.
i hard disagree with the kscope take if anything its more valuable than ever thanks to append now even one copy lets any servant np turn 1 no need for any other servant. like even if we put aside all the specific strats that that enables it still lets you do easy farming with minimum thought needed and sometimes thats just so good. alot of the times i just go you know what front row gets the np charge CEs that they need and then ill comeback later and refine it because my mind is on other things but i need mats and this is quick and easy.
Skill appends, np gauge skills and batteries made kdscope a lot less relevant now than then.
We have reached a gameplay where refund is more important than free np in turn 1, since there's Melussine and also Arcueid.
This is almost here, back when I leaned of this via JP i was going for Prisma (story content fights, which I've since done already) then Kscope until Appends came out, i have 4 copies of Kscope on my Main, but i can't remember the last time i used it, of the 3 colours, the Rin one is MLB on both my accounts, I'll be going for BG, my Alt has 3 copies, so hopefully the coming Gatcha i pull on will feature a copy or two, I'll pick after I'm done rolling GSSR and Anni Servant.
I started playing FGO for Tamamo Lancer, a few months before her first ever banner in NA. Every SQ was saved for this banner. And I got super lucky. A Waver spook, a Kscope and a Tama Lancer. This Kscope from the very first banner I ever rolled on is still to this day the only copy of Kscope I have. And I have every other CEs on this list at MLB. Even two MLB black grails. So after 6 years I will finally get my second Kscope. Selective luck I guess.
I'll pick the one I don't have MLB yet, so it's between BG or L/ZO. Leaning on BG. And yes, we have Saintess of Winter on NA already
In case some of you didn't know, the "demerit" of BG also activates Caren's passive to give her EVEN more damage on top of it all. So yeah, that CE is kinda funny in how the recurring damage can be a straight up boon instead.

I finally got an MLB Kscope and leveled it to 100 right before the append system came out. I still use it a fair amount in CQs and story quests, since certain 3 and 4 stars still don't have much in the way of charge, and it suits quick looping decently, depending on the servant.
...But yeah, I'll be grabbing a Black Grail.
I'm definitely going for the K-scope on both accounts, having only been able to draw 3 copies on my main and 2 copies on my alt. Sure, if all my Servants had their A2 maxed, that would be a different story. But, being a non-whale, I have very many NP1-2 SRs which don't even have any appends unlocked, and, of course, I don't have the Lores to max everyone who does. Of course both accounts have BG MLB'd or I'd go for that one, but getting closer to MLBing the venerable scope takes much higher priority over Prisma Cosmos for me. My Castorias always run hard content with the Amakusa CE anyway (too bad that one's missing here or I might've picked it over the Kscope).

I have 2 copies of Kaleidoscope and 4 copies of Black Grail. The decision couldn't be easier. I created plenty of CE bombs during the learning with Manga event so it will be an instant upgrade to 100 once MLBed.
A good Gacha Buster CE is the one that comes with koyanskaya, in MLB ehe has 60% and the effect of a non MLB Victor to the moon.

Your Heavens feel take there was too biased. There is no way you would take a lv20 non-mlb black grail over a lv100 Heavens feel.
You trade 1100 ATK for 10 NP damage + 500 hp demerit which is definitely not worth.
Yeah but you assume anyone would level Heaven's Feel to a high level which if anything, is biased from your end. There's so many amazing free CEs you would prio instead to level up and most people can't even get CEs to 100 easily. As someone who has 30-40 lvl 100 CEs, Heaven's Feel isn't even 50 for me.
