The mccoys may have worked with the police prior or their finding the body, but it was the mccoys alone who found the body. The mccoys only. Also, I heard the reward was now $35,000 not $25,000 as it was at first.

They had reopened the Daniel Boone National Forest to the general public. Of course they were allowed to be up there, it's a public forest. Don't criticize before you know the facts.

The real problem and what's unnerving is the fact that the law overlooked this spot which was only a very short distance from where the nut off in the head Joe parked his car and did the actual shooting. He didn't walk more than probably a couple miles at most from the crime scene to where he shot himself. The law was 15 miles or more down the road in the DBNF and had no clue where he was. They had no clue... the local Co hypocrite cops, the KYSP, even the dang US Marshall folks had no clue....he could have been in another State.
He walked five or ten minutes up the mountain above the 49nr truck stop to that tower and took his own life... the law should have searched that area on the first man hunt day. Sad.. sad.. our local law enforcement here in Laurel County is a freaking joke. John Root needs to be ousted from office immediately and ousted from this county. He's a hypocrite. If your in law enforcement, you better be straight as an arrow, a morall 3:48 y good person with nothing to hide. As a law officer or city leader or judge.. You should not be out here playing the part.. arresting people and calling them criminals and drug addicts and putting folks behind bars when some of in this county are doing criminal things and allowing illegal things and activities to go on...
Money and greed and power... sickening. Laurel County residents are fed up. These slot machines in these Indian owened and ran gas stations which are everywhere you look in this county, are destroying folks and families in this county. More addictive than methamphetamine, pain pills... ect.
Why is this allowed to go on??? If you can't figure that one out on your own then you need to educate yourself and get you a book on common sense.
