Gg, would love more 1v1s or 2v2s, I'm struggling with germany's merc build in these matches I want to make it work but I have no idea how to handle early rushes :/
Yea rushing civs are pretty strong right now so merc builds aren't always the best. But Germany does have a pretty good xbow/pike build so you could try that vs rushes.
@JFRED_254 he'd been married for a year when he said he was retiring in a year and I heard he had a kid on the way so responsibilities has more priority.

The problem with Age 3 DE is this , there are top players who have fixed civs like Germany, Japan etc . They dont want balance, they just want their civ to be OP and they can be on top of the ladder. They are also dictating the balance to the dumb Age 3 developers. Take for example Germany, you get free uhlans with every shipment ? Common, this is a huge advantage in terms of attack initiative , raiding and balanced army. you literally have to make a barracks and pikes to counter free running uhlans around the map. And the 8-9 villager shipment in age 2 (3 setter wagons) is just out of the charts.
I'm not good at this game, even though I've put 800 hours into it. that being said, I can reliably win with Germans Vs. Hardest AI. it's the only country I can do this with, and it's on account of THEIR cav and the ability to eliminate the enemy's. it's likely busted, yes. those gun wagons are radicilous.

Why are the flags different?
