Didn’t make a mistake? Off the top of my head, the grealish one. He didn’t track his runner. Jogged back. I forgot which goal but 3 out of the 4 defenders stepped up, Trent was alone at the back and kept everyone on.
@@Ranamon9132 watch the goal again mate, robertson was up the pitch somewhere then as the ball was coming across to the left side both konate and van dijk stepped up to tackle the man with the ball, trent can’t expect to suddenly step forward and if he did there was a chance he left grealish 1 on 1 with alisson so he’s stayed, he makes sure grealish can’t score so he does his job, it’s van dijk and konates fault for not following alvarez in, if they were in the right position alvarez doesn’t score and grealish probably passes backwards
@@timmy5876 okay. The grealish goal? You’re literally the only one defending Trent at this moment in time. I’m not entirely certain how anyone can defend Trent for the last goal tbf. I’ll have to rewatch the other goals, fair enough. Last goal to me is 100% his fault. Grealish wouldn’t have even touched the ball if Trent followed him properly rather than being lazy and going for a slow jog like it isn’t his job to defend and he’s too good to be there mate.
U clearly haven’t played football much. Trent’s positional awareness is genuienly shocking like I’ve seen better in secondary school failed wingers turned to full backs. It just seems like he doesn’t even care about his position. And I’m literally making excuses for him😭☠️☠️
