Oh, yeah, AI writing stories instead of human auhors, and completely missing the point because they don't understand human motivations. Just like in Asimov's novels. We are living in the future and I'm loving it.
"The pride of the luigi's operation". Gotta love lazy AI voicing and subtitling. God forbid we take time to verify that the AI didn't screw up.
Story is also AI written. Typical vagueness.
Metaphores applied inappropiatedly, like a spaceship floating in space "holding its ground".
Vague and unspired descriptions that describe nothing exciting: "the alien leader, a towering forearmed creature". Oh, boy, their leader is FOREARMED, that's so scary!
Alien weaponry is never described. But apparently the only thing you need to defeat it is really really really good sensors and scanners,
After receiving a call for help, "the battleship set course for the planet". Did the battleship suddenly become sentient and took control of its own destiny? No, it was THE CAPTAIN who ordered THE NAVIGATOR to set course, while making sure that the FLEET COMMAND is aware that they are going anywhere other than planned. Did the captain ask permissiom to his ADMIRAL?
The human fleet has ships of many types, but the battleship goes alone to the rescue. No support, no scouts, nothing.
And when they arrive to the planet, the alien force is outnumbered. By whom? By the one battleship?
Characters with vague overarching simplistic stereotypical goals, motivations unclear, shaky or non-existing background story, long-term goals unclear.
The character wants to meet certain goals because, wait, no, there is no reason. The alien leader wants to destroy all of humanity. By, apparently, attacking 1 human colony, getting immediately outnumbered by the first human response force that arrives, and getting himself killed in the first battle. Have the aliens even encountered humanity before? Did they immediatly decide to exterminate all of humanity after making First Contact with 1 colony? Any reasoning or explanation for the hate?
