I like the way that you can't actually see Hierophant's web unless it pulses. That's a really nice touch that I feel was missing from the anime, as it's supposed to be that Dio can't see it but like... it's just there, and perfectly visible.

I love how they show stands from the perspective of the person fighting it and not with some cool whacky effects.
Like here where we barely/cant see the barriers or later when DIO confronts jotaro for the first time and he literally just disappears, like hes there and next frame he pops out of existence, its so sick because thats what Jotaro would actually see and its neat that we get to experience it too.

Kakyoin's death was unfair. Think about this: You finally get to fight again, after being in the hospital for a while. Now, when you FINALLY get to DIO, you unleash a cool ultimate attack. Then ALL OF A SUDDEN, you have a hole in your abdomen.
but don’t forget, right after getting out of the hospital, you have to fight someone by playing a video game (which you lose) and THEN you just get obliterated by dio

Literally the protagonist beats the final boss music just makes it all the more emotional and tense, it puts even more mystery and tension towards DIO as a character and how easy it was for that to happen like just like that he’s dead..
Honestly its kinda like that for everyone in Jojo, they keep getting into fights that they arent allowed to show the entire capabilities of their stand. Polnareff, who coulda given us some cool-ass fights, was instead bdsm’ed to a bed and turned into a baby.

I’ll be honest I one of prefer this style of animation. I like how the characters are drawn and animated and their expressions are great. The sound effects are amazing and the atmosphere is on point.
Finally, the source of “I’m afraid you don’t understand the severity of the situation you’re in.”
One cool detail is the fact that Kakyoin's eyes got their color back when he discovered [The World]'s secret.

I'm currently having to expand Kakyoin's monologue so I've looked through multiple translations and versions of this scene and this is my favorite.
at least in the OVA he died with a smile on his face with no worry
