galaxy s9 does a better job with the colour green and iphone does a better job with the colour red. Iphones images look washed out and need more colour and galaxy has a little too much colour. I think a mix of the both would make a better phone.
This is a really good comparison! The iphone has better dynamic range for video recording. Although at times your s9+ footage looked like it had the contrast turned up way higher compared to other sources, this ends up blowing highlights more than it should.

@@DarkStoneCastle if could make a suggestion for a video idea, you should try gcam (Google camera) on the s9, it definitely improves photo quality, and I do believe it improves video recording too since the last version is using pixel 4's video and image processing. I'd be nice to have a comparison between footage from gcam on th s9 and from your iphone 11.

S9+ is the best S series for now and 11 series is the best iphone for now because 12 series is a downgrade specially on battery. I'm using S9+ and planning to buy used iPhone 11 pro, but after watching this video maybe I need to keep it a bit longer until next iphone comes up. Thanks for this information.

It's about recording realistic representation of reality, and that blurry while sharpened grass is realistic!? Samsung's are overhyped crap at least in camera department. Even my old iPhone 6 plus takes more realistic pictures videos, and let's not even start with handheld stabilization. Samsung is crap. Period
