To be honest, after before my summer holiday into HK.. I had no idea how hard, and how tough... HK life really is. Because.. It seems like, there is a lot of actual "rotation" between different companies and stores.. I do feel that, under a 10 year period, how many could handle... 1) stressful DSE afterwards and 2) to throw away all that you learnt in school and to follow company's SOPs. 3) To learn DIFFERENT foreign companies' SOPs. Just place from place. 4) no progression within that organisation, cos it is only a split side business unit in HK only, a franchaise only, and not a HQ. I don't even know how HK would actually rebalance itself, ever ?? If it isn't for some of the oligarchs that buy franchaisees to deal with.. These kind of global MNCs.... I think this is so tough. Now I realised what and why... Which then means or make HK into an actual "transient nation"... Which is so hard and tough too. No wonder some of the regulars and locals, are SO angry.... Actually. This is so tough. It is time either HK has an actual union that deals with these foreign companies, or for actual legal firms to deal with these kind of foreign company's actual employment requirements etc. And write actual exemptions etc. Or to readjust their processes, in accordance to HK's own basic standards and laws. IF indeed... HK is supposedly following common law that is. Protect the citizens. Than anything.
Because HK was part of the British rule... the "Employment Laws" already cover all aspects of customer services. And when in the customer service role. It is more or less defined, by law, what you need to do etc. And what should not be covered etc. So I don't get why they add so many little things which makes working quite hard and tough ? Somebody needs to actually redesign their team and sets, and re-evaluate their operations, especially when abroad. Japan has 100 million people... HK only has around 8 million people... Just how much money, can this store make for this company to begin with at the end of the day ??? In all honesty ??? No wonder people say that customer services are getting quite bad in HK.... People are so used and burnt out by foreign investors and foreign companies....
This is really good to watch. I just stumbled onto this while looking at how different hospitality works. I wish all international university students who apply for hospitality roles have the same energy and dedication. Unfortunately, i have seen only one after covid break out.

香港人比起大陸人其實更加西,仲要孤寒過人,做過多年服務業既朋友應該深有體會
害,兄台一看就知道没去过内地啦,8年前左右,内地普遍员工还是3000一个月,做到死,每天上班10小时,下班OT没人工,不跟着开会就等炒鱿鱼,各种事情,最重要压工资拖工资,欠工资才是最恶心人的。hk起码都没有这些问题,起码都是很少见。
老實講,員工點辛苦法係另一回事,我非常尊重佢哋努力工作,而且人哋架仔都係一樣咁做,所以香港人去日本咪玩得咁開心囉。
而我身為顧客好享受依種體驗,就係貪佢成個過程盡量跟足日本嗰套而覺得加分,直頭好似慳咗張來回日本機票咁,如果將sop左改右改難保證顧客唔會失去期望

日式的要求,港式的人工,萬五六蚊真心好低,明明賺到暴棚,又唔肯增加員工福利,老實講仲係度做果班人,真係俾朝早的洗腦文化洗得唔少。
同喺醫院做既洗手方法差唔多,日資公司對衛生嘅要求好嚴格,每30分鐘就要清潔廚房。
完全感受到新人既壓力

通常服務性行業以日本人最有禮貌,製造認真,廚房清潔要求好高,日本朋友帶我在香港數間日人開設餐廳吃飯,廚師雖不懂英粵語,但間中出來由經理翻譯,請客人評論指教,營業中廚房不招待訪客,但在非營業時間參觀,清潔整齊得不像話,在假日酒店日本餐廳工作的朋友告訴我,每日休業前後廚房也要清潔一次。
雖然但是,對上一次食壽司郎(非香港),好幾碟出黎上面個料同下面個飯分開咗,散哂咁樣,我地仲要係坐軌道出黎第一張枱,碟壽司一出黎就散嘅樣我地都O嘴,啲飯又好鬆散咁輕輕一夾就散,同個fd食完之後都覺得麻麻,但係炸野食同甜品好食,最後狂食甜品🤤

日本仔公司管理完全唔入流,起碼落後美國30年,一味做埋啲多餘嘢扮精細,但就唔理big picture
@@Fwtw7 佢個問題係將餐廳當係工廠咁管理,日本仔做生產係出色嘅,可能因為咁就樂此不疲,連零售餐飲都以工廠倒模形式去run。如果識變通都未嘗不可,但佢最大問題係完全入晒戲,連食客都當埋生產線一部分,唔當佢哋係人。而且日本仔自尊心太強,唔肯入鄉隨俗,將日本嗰套硬搬去外國,產生磨擦係必然之事,唔係點會日日同客開拖。
好果面睇,就係要求嚴謹,認真,精細,唔好果面睇,就係on 9,執著埋啲唔需要執著既野

次次都一定會食油甘魚🥰佐敦第一間鋪一定係最好食,但係之後去食嘅時候都已經薄咗好多啦,一開始好厚身好好食㗎😞
